How to Make Pandan Sponge Cake

Well, this week Ema and I will make a cake that is quite unique with pandan flavor. This cake is quite popular and is often found in pastry shops in Indonesia. How to make this cake is very simple with various types of ingredients that are of course also cheap. Well, the ingredients for making this pandan cake certainly don't cost a lot, you can buy all the ingredients for this recipe at the supermarket or the nearest market in your house. The first ingredients you have to prepare are 3 eggs, cornstarch, pandan paste, TBM, wheat flour, sugar, powdered milk and margarine.

the first step, what you have to do first is prepare a bowl and melt 3 tablespoons of margarine with water that has been preheated.

the second step, after the margarine has been melted until it's finished, the next thing you have to prepare is to prepare a place and put 3 eggs, half a spoon of SP, half a sachet of milk powder, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 4 tablespoons of sugar, to taste pandan paste and 50 grams of wheat flour. then, mix everything until well blended and expands at speed.

the third step, after it has been in the mixer until well mixed and fluffy, then all you have to do is add all the melted margarine into the dough and mix again until well mixed at high speed.

the fourth step, after the dough is white and fluffy, the next thing you have to do is take a little dough and put it in 2 different places. then, put enough moca paste and 1 more place put enough cocoa powder. Then, stir the two places until the dough changes color.

the fifth step, after the two doughs have been stirred until well blended, then what you have to do is prepare 2 plastic triangles and put each dough into the plastic triangle like the photo above.

the sixth step, after all the dough is finished, the next thing you have to do is prepare a baking sheet and spread margarine evenly in the pan. After that, line the baking sheet with parchment paper like the photo above.

seventh step, after you have prepared the pan, the next thing you have to do is put the dough into the pan and hit the pan against the table so that no wind is trapped in the dough.

the eighth step, after all the dough has been put into the pan, the next thing you have to do is make a motif at the top of the dough using the moca and pandan dough that you put into the plastic triangle.

the last step, after you have made the motif on the dough, then what you have to do is prepare the oven and preheat the oven for 10 minutes. Next, after the oven is hot, put the baking sheet into the oven and bake the dough with a temperature of 160 or 170 degrees Celsius less more for 40 or 50 minutes depending on the oven you are using.

and finally, you can eat pandan cake with your family or friends. for the texture of the cake is really very soft and not too hard, everything looks very perfect with a simple way of making.
