I needed to paint a dirty wall and I didn't know what color to buy the paint so I took a piece of wall and went to a store to ask about the color mixture and it was very expensive, so my solution was to compare the paints already available , and I took a quite similar color.
Necesitaba pintar una pared que está sucia y no sabía de qué color comprar la pintura así que tomé un pedazo de pared y fui a una tienda a preguntar por la mezcla del color y era muy costoso, así qué mi solución fue comparar las pinturas ya disponibles, y tomé un color bastante similar.
I'm going to show you how dirty the wall was, it only had a giant stain and clearly I couldn't just paint that place because the paint mark would be very ugly.
Voy a enseñarles cómo estaba la pared de sucia, solo tenía una mancha pero gigante y claramente no podía solamente pintar ese lugar porque iba a quedar la marca de la pintura muy feo.
I prepared the paint as it said in the instructions and took a "stick" to mix
Preparé la pintura como decía en las instrucciones y tomé un palo improvisado para mezclar
I poured the paint into the tray, but I had also already prepped the wall with tape and started by painting all the edges of the wall very carefully because I don't like to make it so messy, plus the roller wouldn't have enough reach in those areas.
Verti la pintura en la bandeja, pero también ya había preparado la pared con cinta y empecé pintando todos los bordes de la pared con extremo cuidado porque no me gusta hacerlo tan desordenado, además de que en esas zonas el rodillo no iba a tener alcance.
The last thing was to wait for the paint to dry, I couldn't take pictures while I was painting because I was afraid to stop and then starting again painting it would make a mark, but seeing the paint still wet on the wall gave me anxiety, because it looked like a wall dirty.
Lo último fue esperar a que secara la pintura, no pude tomar fotos mientras pintaba porque me daba miedo detenerme y que luego al retomar la pintura se hiciera una marca, pero ver la pintura aún húmeda en la pared me dió ansiedad, porque parecía una pared sucia.
But in the end the objective was achieved, removing the annoying stain and also the color turned out very well.
Pero al final si se logró el objetivo, eliminar la mancha molesta y además el color quedó muy bien.
