Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una figura en Origami. El origami es el arte de crear figuras u objetos con una sola hoja de papel sin usar tijeras ni pegamento. La figura que realizare hoy es un Dinosaurio, esta figura la haré con papel iris y luego haré otra con papel reciclado para contribuir con el medio ambiente, si tu la deseas hacer la puedes crear con cualquier papel.

Today I want to share with you a figure in Origami. Origami is the art of creating figures or objects with a single sheet of paper without using scissors or glue. The figure I will make today is a Dinosaur, I will make this figure with iris paper and then I will make another one with recycled paper to contribute to the environment, if you want to make it you can create it with any paper.

Dinosaur Origami
Primero debemos disponer de una hoja de cualquier tamaño pero debe ser cuadrada, en este caso haré el origami de Dinosaurio con una hoja iris y luego con una hoja reciclada. A continuación el paso a paso del origami de Dinosaurio:
- Debemos tomar la hoja y doblaremos una punta hacia el extremo contrario realizando un corte diagonal y repetimos el proceso con la punta restante para que nos quede un corte en X. Luego por la cara contraria de la hoja debemos doblar la hoja por la mitad desde cualquier extremo hasta su extremo contrario, repetiremos el proceso con el extremo restante y así nos quedara un corte en cruz. A continuación unos gifs explicativos de la manera correcta en la que se debe hacer.
First we must have a sheet of any size but it must be square, in this case I will make the Dinosaur origami with an iris sheet and then with a recycled sheet. Here is the step by step of Dinosaur origami:
- We must take the sheet and fold a point towards the opposite end making a diagonal cut and repeat the process with the remaining point so that we have a cut in X. Then on the opposite side of the sheet we must fold the sheet in half from either end to its opposite end, we will repeat the process with the remaining end and thus we will have a cross cut. Here are some explanatory gifs of the correct way to do it.
- Procedemos a doblar la hojas haciendo uso de los cortes en cruz para así formar un cuadrado con la hoja. A continuación el gif explicativo de como se debe hacer correctamente.
- We proceed to fold the sheets using the cross cuts to form a square with the sheet. Here is the explanatory gif of how to do it correctly.
- En el siguiente paso debemos poner el cuadrado de tal forma que nosotros veamos un rombo, tomaremos uno de los extremos inferiores del rombo y lo llevaremos hacia el centro poniéndolo exactamente igual con el corte del centro, repetimos esto con el otro extremo. Luego realizamos los mismo pasos por esta cara contraria. Así nos parecerá la forma de una cometa. A continuación los gifs explicativos de como se debe hacer correctamente.
- In the next step we must put the square in such a way that we see a rhombus, we will take one of the lower ends of the rhombus and take it towards the center, putting it exactly the same with the center cut, we repeat this with the other end. Then we perform the same steps on this opposite face. This is what the shape of a kite will look like to us. Below are the explanatory gifs of how to do it correctly.
- Luego desdoblaremos los cortes hechos anteriormente y tomaremos la punta inferior y la abriremos de tal modo que se nos forme un rombo mas alargado, repetiremos el proceso por la cara contraria de la figura. A continuación unos gifs explicativos de como se debe hacer correctamente.
- Then we will unfold the cuts made previously and take the bottom point and open it in such a way that a more elongated rhombus is formed, we will repeat the process on the opposite side of the figure. Here are some explanatory gifs of how to do it correctly.
- The next step will be to take the top tip and join it with the bottom tip making a cut in half. On the other side of the sheet we will also take the top tip but we will make a different cut to this as you can see below the explanatory gif.
- El siguiente paso sera tomar la punta superior y la juntaremos con la punta inferior haciendo un corte por la mitad. En la otra cara de la hoja tomaremos también la punta superior pero a esta le realizaremos otro corte distinto como lo podrás ver a continuación el los gif explicativos.
- Luego doblaremos el rombo por la mitad y con los cortes que acabamos de hacer la punta superior se doblara de manera distinta. Posteriormente doblaremos la punta que se doblo distinta y haremos un corte diagonal en sentido contrario de la otra punta, esta sera nuestra cabeza. A continuación los gifs explicativos de como se debe hacer correctamente.
- Then we will fold the rhombus in half and with the cuts we have just made the top tip will fold differently. Later we will bend the point that is bent different and we will make a diagonal cut in the opposite direction of the other point, this will be our head. - Luego tomamos la punta a la que acabamos de realizar los cortes y la doblaremos hacia afuera, los cortes nos ayudaran a darle la forma. Después doblaremos la punta hacia el interior de la figura, a continuación los gifs explicativos de como se debe hacer.
- Then we take the tip to which we just made the cuts and we will fold it out, the cuts will help us shape it. Then we will fold the tip towards the inside of the figure, then the gifs explaining how it should be done.
- En el siguiente paso hay una punta debajo de la cabeza, tomaremos esa punta y le haremos un corte hacia adentro de la figura formando los brazos del dinosaurio. Luego tomaremos una de las puntas que están en el otro extremo y la doblaremos hacia abajo y repetiremos el proceso por el lado contrario de la cara, estas conformaran las piernas del dinosaurio. A continuación los gifs explicativos de la manera correcta en que se debe hacer.
- In the next step there is a point under the head, we will take that point and we will make a cut inside the figure forming the arms of the dinosaur. Then we will take one of the tips that are at the other end and fold it down and repeat the process on the opposite side of the face, these will make up the dinosaur's legs. Below are the explanatory gifs of the correct way to do it.
- Por ultimo tomamos la punta de las piernas y la doblamos por dentro hacia la cola, repetimos esto con la otra pata. Luego tomamos la punta y la doblamos hacia adelante y nos quedara terminado nuestro dinosaurio. A continuación los gifs explicativos e como se debe hacer correctamente.
- Finally we take the tip of the legs and fold it inside towards the tail, repeat this with the other leg. Then we take the tip and fold it forward and our dinosaur will be finished. Below the explanatory gifs and how to do it correctly.
