This year marks a shift in the weather patterns in my country and the same thing seems to be happening around the world. Things are changing faster since the conjunction of seven planets in January; four major slow moving planets will remain in the same conjunction position longer than others. Astrology plus astronomy and a sprinkle of the unknown are making my antenna very aware of the changing wind of the impending troublesome future. This makes me taking solace in my garden and the simple everyday life in the countryside.
This winter has given us a both delightful moments and some warning signs of changes in the weather. The orchids really liked s brief spell of sudden cold temperature. Some orchids had died away during the last rainy season. But I was glad to see several orchids still flowering in my garden. I would stop to look at them and thank them for keeping the garden lively. Weekends are usually inspection days around the garden.
My gardener is surprisingly creative; most villagers seem to have innate instinct of creativity for survival. They are very adept at making use of bamboo for fishing and gardening tools. I would have thought the fishing net seemed too big for catching fish in the river. The size of the fishing net made me wonder whether a person could lift it up from the river. But my gardener insisted that this was the usual size used by local people. They would not be so many gush any way as the river has changed a lot after several dams had been built upstream in China and Laos. My previous prediction that the river would become so low that the riverbed would be seen in places and that one day we would be able to walk across to Laos. I am afraid that politicians would not be willing to change their actions until it is too late. So, ordinary people have to become more resourceful and prepare for unexpected consequences.
I have been trying to educate and inform my gardener about fake news and politicians in our country. Nowadays my gardener and some villagers have become less gullible towards politicians’ promises and are aware of rampant corruptions by their idol politicians. People have been subjected to the tactic of ‘divide and rule’ by politicians for years. Now my gardener has become aware of the possibility of global famine and wide spread crop failure. Several things I have predicted turned out true these past months. Some local people are aware of the possibility of a kinetic global conflict. I have been trying to change the materialistic attitude of my gardener which is common among ‘poor’ people. Money seems to be ‘god’ among the under-privileged which could made them easy pawns by politicians who promised them money and prosperity. You will be surprised that ‘poor’ villagers are not really poor; they all have houses and rice fields but they are cash strapped; the prices of agricultural produce has become lowered while their daily expenses have risen. So, some villagers have too much debt burden. This is becoming a serious problem and could become troublesome in the near future.
My gardener had told me how local people were persuaded to go on protest and been indoctrinated to hate supporters of the opposite political party. It was hard for her to realise that she had been used and fooled by corrupt politicians. These people also got paid to go to protest. Looking at what has passed in America, it seems the play-book which has been perfected in my country has been applied in the former case quite effectively. Now my gardener has stopped believing all the news on tv and starts to ask questions. I hope that this healthy scepticism would spread among her friends.
ปีนี้เป็นปที่เราเริ่มเห็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ชัดมากขึ้น หลายอย่างที่เราเคยบอกเล่าคนสวนให้เตรียมรับมือในอนาคตเริ่มเป็นจริง ปีนี้ปรากฎการณ์ของยุคนํ้าแข็งเริ่มชัดเจนมาก อากาศทางเหนือแปรปรวนมาก มีลูกเห็บตกหลายครั้งและมีนํ้าค้างแข็งด้วย ส่วนที่เมืองนอกนั้นผู้คนเดือดร้อนกันมาก เราสามารถตามดูได้คลิปข่าวมากมาย เราเตือนว่าน้ำในแม่น้ำโขงจะแห้งมาก ถึงขนาดคนจะเดินข้ามไปฝั่งลาวได้ เราก็ยังเตือนเรื่องอาหารขาดแคลนทั่วโลก อาหารจะมีราคาแพงมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ คนทั่วโลกจะตายจากความอดอยากมากอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ แผ่นดินไหวและแผ่นดินเคลื่อนตัวจะเกิดบ่อยครั้ง หลุมยุบและโคลนถล่มจะกลายเป็นเรื่องธรรมดา นี่เป็นผลของการเปลี่ยนแปลววงโคจรของโลก และดาวพระอาทิตย์ที่กำลังถูกดูดเข้าไปสู่ศูนย์กลางของทางช้างเผือก
เราคิดว่าตอนนี้คนสวนของเราและเพื่อนในหมู่บ้านคงคิดว่า เราเป็นหมอดูกระมัง เพราะทุกเรื่องที่ผ่านมาเขาก็จำได้ว่าเราบอกล่วงหน้าก่อนแล้ว เราใช้หลักกามาลสูตรคือไม่เชื่ออะไรง่ายๆ เราก็เลยต้องอ่านและค้นหาข้อมูลมากจนเราคิดว่า เรื่องนี้มีความเป็นไปได้สูงมาก เราจึงตามหาข้อมูลที่นักวิทยาศาสตร์และนักวิเคราะห์ได้รายงานไว้แล้ว คนพวกนี้ทั้งเก่งและรวยจึงสามารถเตรียมตัวรับมือ กับการเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งใหญ่ที่กำลังจะมาถึง เราเตือนให้ทำใจว่าคนจะล้มตายเป็นจำนวนมาก และอีกไม่กี่ปีเราจะได้เห็นสงครามระหว่างมหาอำนาจ เศรษฐกิจไทยจะพังป่นปี้ทำให้ธนบัตรที่มีอยู่ไม่มีความหมาย คนจะลำบากยากเข็นมาก สังคมจะปั่นป่วน เราจึงต้องพยายามเตรียมปลูกต้นไม้และผลไม้ไว้เป็นทางออกของความอยู่รอดในอนาคต
เราดีใจที่คนสวนของเราเริ่มเปลี่ยนแปลงในทางที่ดีขึ้น เขาเริ่มเลิกคิดว่าเงินสำคัญที่สุด เขาเริ่มเข้าใจเรื่องสุขภาพและผลเสียของการกินยาเคมีที่หมอทั่วไปชอบแจกมาหลายถุง คนที่นี่คิดว่าหมอเก่งและใจดี ถ้าเขาจ่ายยาให้มากๆ คนสวนบอกว่า ทุกคนดีใจมากที่ได้ยาเม็ดมากินที่บ้านเยอะ และเห็นว่าคุ้มค่ายา ตอนนี้คนสวนมีสุขภาพดีขึ้นมากตั้งแต่เราไม่ให้กินยาเม็ดพวกนั้น แต่เราให้กินวิตามินและอาการเสริมกินแทนสักสองเดือน ความดันก็ลงและหัวใจเต้นเป็นปกติแล้ว เราตกใจมากที่เขาได้ยาที่ทางยุโรปห้ามขายหลายปีแล้ว ตกลงเมืองไทยเป็นที่ปล่อยสารพิษของบริษัทนายทุนอีกแล้ว หลังจากที่เราเสียเวลาบอกเล่าเรื่องราวต่างๆมากมาย ตอนนี้เขาก็เลือกเชื่อทุกอย่างที่เป็นข่าวทางทีวี และเริ่มตั้งคำถามมากขึ้น เราก็หวังว่าคนหลายคนในหมู่บ้านที่รู้จักเราคงเข้าใจวิธีคิดของเรามากขึ้น เราต้องการให้คนในหมู่บ้านเริ่มคิด และทำใจรับมือกับความผันผวนที่จะมากระหน่ำสังคมไทยในอนาคต เพื่อที่คนเหล่านี้จะรวมตัวกันวางแผนเพื่อความอยู่รอดปลอดภัยของชุมชน
I just hope that I would be able to get all the relevant things in order this year. This will require more resources and technical assistance from friendly construction workers including more hard work in the garden. Through my gardener, I hope to spread the urgency of preparing for drastic changes on the near future. The government seems to know about this as I have noticed several policies and short-term measures in preparation for the collapse of the financial system next year.

Ah yes - it is very much ant egg season incoming LOL... and the orchids are in flower. I also have some nice natural Thai garden post planned for the next days - stay tuned. Today it feels hot and dry here in Chiang Mai and I am blessed by the sound of the gardener watering while I am "working" at my desk.

Daily expenses meant electricity bills, water bills, fertilizers, tractors and school fees? Thai government did certain things well except for providing social securities to citizens. As always, I hate rich greedy people cheating illiterates and ignorant into selling their lands leaving them little option but to force their children into prostitution. May I ask why did you return to Thailand instead of settling elsewhere with better welfare and social securities? Also, why haven't you introduced HIVE to your gardener yet? Thanks!

I have almost stopped watching the news because of this, however, because it is not good to be ignorant, I watch some. I hope that they find ways to spread proper news, not the alarmist baloney they are passing out.

Thank you very much for your understanding. Yah! Factual news of events and actions and weather news are useful. But emotive news with opinions could be too heavy to digest; but people could be easily swayed by the emotive tones. So, we just have to be aware and reasonable.
