Mi nombre es Karen, tengo 21 años y soy de Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, un lugar conocido por su historia y sus paisajes. Crecer aquí me enseñó a ver la belleza en lo cotidiano y a encontrar inspiración incluso en los días más simples.
Antes de continuar, quizás muchos no me conozcan, pero me gustaría aclarar que esta no es mi primera vez en Hive. Hace unos cuatro años tuve una cuenta, pero dejé de postear debido a varios problemas de salud. Pasé casi un año en fisioterapia y dejé de dibujar y crear por completo, en ese momento se me hizo difícil continuar con mis proyectos, pensé que ya no iba a poder volver a publicar y sumado a eso terminé perdiendo las llaves de mi cuenta. Ahora que ya estoy un poco mejor, quiero retomar esto con mucho más cuidado y con las mismas ganas de seguir creando.

My name is Karen, I am 21 years old and I am from Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, a place known for its history and landscapes.
Growing up here taught me to see beauty in everyday life and to find inspiration even on the simplest of days. Before continuing, many of you may not know me, but I would like to clarify that this is not my first time on Hive.
About four years ago, I had an account, but I stopped posting due to various health issues. I spent almost a year in physical therapy and stopped drawing and creating altogether. At that time, it was difficult for me to continue with my projects. I thought I would never be able to post again, and on top of that, I ended up losing the keys to my account. Now that I am feeling a little better, I want to take this up again with much more care and with the same desire to continue creating.*

Actualmente estudio Diseño Gráfico, una carrera que me ha permitido entender la conexión entre lo visual y lo emocional. Me gusta cómo el diseño une el arte con la tecnología y cómo una idea puede transformarse en algo tangible. Desde pequeña el arte ha estado presente en mi vida: siempre me ha gustado crear, jugar con colores y formas y con el tiempo eso se convirtió en mi manera más natural de expresarme.
I am currently studying Graphic Design, a degree that has allowed me to understand the connection between the visual and the emotional. I like how design brings art and technology together and how an idea can be transformed into something tangible. Art has been present in my life since I was a child: I have always liked creating, playing with colors and shapesand over time that became my most natural way of expressing myself.

También me encanta coser y hacer manualidades. Aprendí de mi mamá, que me enseñó a hacer las cosas con cariño. De ella heredé ese amor por lo artesanal, con los años he ido encontrando mi propio estilo, mezclando lo que aprendí con lo que voy descubriendo.
I also love sewing and doing crafts. I learned from my mom, who taught me to do things with love. I inherited my love of crafts from her. Over the years, I have developed my own style, combining what I learned with what I am discovering.
