Eden and I went to the elephant sanctuary in Hartebeespoort as Christmas present for me.
To say it was magical is an understatement. They are such beautiful animals. Magestic actually.
We learnt so much about the elephants, we got to feed them, tickle them, and take pics with them. Never have I been so close to an elephant, one of Gods greatest creatures. I was surprised to learn that their tails are made of a wire type material, and their ears are in front of the flaps not behind (like humans).
Looking into their eyes was so special. They have the most beautiful eyes and cute eyelashes.
I’m so grateful to Eden for this incredible experience. After the elephants, we went and had lunch at an orange farm up the road that was designed to look like a little Tuscany. We shared a charcuterie board which is my favourite way to eat and a chocolate brownie for dessert. Was delicious
Amazing experience to be next to such creatures, thanks for sharing with us these beautiful elephants. I sure hope they continue to protect elephants and other animals in these sanctuaries.
Yes, I hope so. They are magnificent creatures.
This is a very interesting outing. I had similar experience within the week where l experienced a POLO Sports for the first and l would also like to share the experience here.
I'm just trying to navigate through the sites and figure out how to do it.
