Sup, MoonKarters? I've been spending a ton of time on the tracks and grinding out races, and I’ve noticed so many new people just get stomped because they're not using the one feature that separates the champs from the chumps: Presets. Seriously, this is like, the most underrated thing in the game. I think a lot of people just don't get it, or they think it's for people who are too lazy to build their setups. Nah, man, it's about strategy, being smart, and saving time. You gotta be ready for anything the track throws at you.
So what are presets? In simple terms, it's just a way to save your complete racing setup. You can have up to four of them. That means you can save a specific combo of your driver, your kart, all your tech cards (engine, tires, body kit, and gearbox), your accessories, and even your power-ups. You can switch between them with one single click before a race starts. No more fumbling around with menus and trying to rebuild your car from scratch every time you want to try a new strat. It’s a huge tactical advantage. I can't tell you how many times I've loaded into a lobby, saw the map, and then just instantly switched my entire car setup to a preset I know works perfectly for that track.
This is where the real game-changing stuff comes in. You can make a preset for every kind of track. Got a track with long, boring straightaways? Make a preset with a bunch of Engine Tech Upgrades to max out that top speed and blow past everyone. Racing on a twisty-turny map? Use your handling preset with all the Tire Tech Upgrades and Legendary Armor Plating. I even have a specific preset just for when I'm playing against that one friend of mine who’s always bumping into people. I just load up my health and durability preset, and he gets so mad when he can’t knock me out. It's a game of wits, not just who has the rarest cards, and presets make it so you always have the right tool for the job.

Now, for a little bit of the community gossip I've been hearing. A guy I know who's super connected with some playtesters said the devs are thinking of adding a new feature where you can share your presets with your guildmates. Imagine being able to just import a pro player's perfect setup for a specific track? The rumor is they are already testing it out in some private servers. It would be a total game changer, but also maybe a little too OP for a while, since the top players' secrets would be out there. It could really shake up the whole meta.
Anyway, if you're not using presets, you're just doing it wrong. Start building your perfect builds for different tracks and you'll see your win rate go way up, trust me. It’s the easiest way to get an edge on the competition.
