En esta oportunidad les quiero contar mi experiencia en el Teatro Teresa Carreño con el Coro Sinfónico del Estado Sucre, Carúpano y Cuamaná en nuestra participación en la 8va Sinfonía de Gustav Mahler "Coro de las Mil Voces" con los distintos coros Sinfónico del país. Dirigido por Gustavo Dudamel. La Orquista Venezolana Simón Bolivar y la Filarmónica de los Ángeles les dio sonoridad a este evento. Les cuento:
Hello Hive friends and @GEMS community! This time I want to tell you about my experience at the Teresa Carreño Theater with the Sucre, Carúpano and Cuamaná State Symphonic Choir in our participation in the 8th Symphony of Gustav Mahler "Choir of a Thousand Voices" with the different Symphonic choirs of the country. Conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. The Simón Bolivar Venezuelan Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic gave sound to this event. I tell you:
Inicia en febrero del 2012 cuando el Coro Sinfónico hace el viaje, fue de mañana que abordamos el bus espresso para viajar por carretara hasta Caracas, lugar en donde haríamos morada para hacer los ensayos previos a la presentación. Llegamos por la noche y nos hospedamos en el Hotel Meliá, cuando entré vi lo hermoso y grande que era.
It began in February 2012 when the Symphonic Choir made the trip, it was in the morning that we boarded the espresso bus to travel by highway to Caracas, where we would stay to do the rehearsals prior to the presentation. We arrived at night and stayed at the Hotel Meliá, when I entered I saw how beautiful and big it was.
En ese entonces era menor de edad y ahí nos ponían chaperonas que nos custodiaban los lugares a los que frecuetábamos ir, ensayos, reuniones, en ocasiones nos daban un paseo por el centro comercial.
At that time I was a minor and there they put us chaperones who guarded us the places we frequented, rehearsals, meetings, sometimes they gave us a walk through the shopping center.
Los ensayos solían ser desde las 8 am hasta las 12 pm y después de almorzar teníamos otras horas de ensayo en las tardes. La actuación tenía que quedar excelente. Nuestro director fue Gustavo Dudamel, director venezolano de renombre. Es un excelente ser humano. También nos estuvieron dando clases de vocalización. En los ensayos también nos estuvo instruyendo el director Manuel López Gómez.
Rehearsals used to be from 8 am to 12 pm and after lunch we had other rehearsal hours in the afternoons. The performance had to be excellent. Our director was Gustavo Dudamel, a renowned Venezuelan director. He is an excellent human being. They were also giving us vocalization classes. In rehearsals, the director Manuel López Gómez was also instructing us.
En nuestra primera entrada al teatro me sentí muy contenta y todos mis amigos del coro estaban emocionados...
At our first entrance to the theater I felt very happy and all my friends in the choir were excited ...
Realmente estaba contenta porque yo no estaba sola, mi padre y mi hermana menor @joseannyt también compartieron conmigo esta experiencia.
I was really happy because I was not alone, my father and my younger sister @joseannyt also shared this experience with me.
Día de la presentación...
La verdad todo quedó perfecto, cuando la obra acabó el público aplaudió eufóricamente por más de 5 minutos, no pude evitar la lágrimas de alegría. Todos quedamos satisfechos y muy emocionados. Gracias a nuestro profesor @edmundocentenor, director del Coro Sinfónico de Cuamaná, por prepararnos muy bien, realmente ensayamos muy fuerte para llegar hasta este punto, por la cual aprecio mucho el sacrificio.
The truth was, everything was perfect, when the play finished the audience applauded euphorically for more than 5 minutes, I couldn't help the tears of joy. We are all satisfied and very excited. Thanks to our teacher @edmundocentenor, director of the Cuamaná Symphonic Choir, for preparing us very well, we really are very strong to get to this point, for which I appreciate the sacrifice very much.
