Si siguen mi blog, se van a dar cuenta de que yo siempre estoy metida en un taller. La verdad es que de muchos escojo escaparme y otros me sirven para escaparme de otras cosas. A veces las clases son muy aburridas y a veces no hay nada bueno que hacer, así que prefiero estar metida en un taller en donde sé que voy a salir más temprano y en donde quizás pueda aprender algo de un nuevo o también me sirve para criticar cosas. Yo soy una persona demasiado honesta y cuando lo que está bien, lo digo y cuando algo está mal, también lo digo. En esta oportunidad estuve asistiendo a un taller en donde se iba a hablar del crecimiento de la marca Waltz y que trajo una experiencia nueva, así que les quiero contar un poco.
If you follow my blog, you'll notice that I'm always involved in a workshop. The truth is that I choose to skip many of them, and others help me escape from other things. Sometimes the classes are very boring, and sometimes there's nothing good to do, so I prefer to be in a workshop where I know I'll get out earlier and where I might learn something new or criticize things. I'm too honest a person, and when something is good, I say so, and when something is bad, I say so too. This time, I was attending a workshop where they were going to talk about the growth of the Waltz brand, which was a new experience for me, so I want to tell you a little bit about it.
Waltz es una marca que yo conozco bastante bien? Es una empresa nacida en la ciudad de comunidad y que apuesta por el mercado local nacional. Ellos fabrican productos para el consumo. Su producto estrella es el té frío, y también tienen otros como gelatina, chocolate instantáneo, base para helados y muchos más. Yo conozco esta marca demasiado bien, porque trabajé con ella en el 2023. Fui Content Manager y Project Manager de las redes sociales de esta marca cuando trabajaba en una agencia de marketing. Conocí la empresa, conocí la distribuidora, conocí al dueño y conocí a las personas encargadas de la imagen de la marca. Eso me hace tener una sólida base y también me hace tener como sentido de pertenencia con la marca porque me gusta muchísimo que esté hecho en la ciudad y apueste muchísimo por la ciudad, así que yo las recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, porque la verdad es demasiado buena. Y en esta oportunidad, la nueva persona encargada del marketing de esta marca, pues estuvo dando un taller en la universidad, ya que fue una estudiante de la universidad y la verdad a mí no me encantó el taller, sentí que le faltó muchísimo, y no se desenvolvió para nada bien, pero la información fue la correcta, por lo menos.
Waltz is a brand that I know quite well. It is a company that was founded in the city of Comunidad and is committed to the local national market. They manufacture consumer products. Their flagship product is iced tea, and they also have others such as gelatin, instant chocolate, ice cream base, and many more. I know this brand very well because I worked with it in 2023. I was the content manager and project manager for this brand's social media when I worked at a marketing agency. I got to know the company, the distributor, the owner, and the people in charge of the brand's image. That gives me a solid foundation and also makes me feel a sense of belonging to the brand because I really like that it is made in the city and is very committed to the city, so I recommend them with my eyes closed because the truth is that they are too good. On this occasion, the new person in charge of marketing for this brand was giving a workshop at the university, as she was a student there, and to be honest, I didn't love the workshop. I felt that it was lacking in many ways and didn't go well at all, but at least the information was correct.
Lo que me gustó también es que asistieron muchísimas personas, creo que es el taller en donde más ha asistido gente y eso está genial. Y también me inspiró muchísimo a apostar por esta marca en futuros proyectos con mi grupo, que es la primera promoción de diseño gráfico. También lo genial de este taller fue que dieron regalos, varios productos de la marca, a muchos estudiantes. A mí me estuvieron regalando una gelatina Lucy de piña, yo no como demasiada gelatina, pero es un producto bueno como todos los de la marca. Y la verdad es que es difícil crecer en Venezuela, pero cuando tienes una muy buena marca y tienes muy buenos productos, el camino quizás es un poco más fácil. What I also liked was that a lot of people attended. I think it's the workshop with the highest attendance, which is great. It also inspired me a lot to bet on this brand in future projects with my group, which is the first graphic design class. Another great thing about this workshop was that they gave gifts, several products from the brand, to many students. I was given a Lucy pineapple jelly. I don't eat a lot of jelly, but it's a good product, like all the brand's products. And the truth is that it's difficult to grow in Venezuela, but when you have a very good brand and very good products, the road is perhaps a little easier.
