Hello hello friends of hive I hope you are very well, this time I come to share with you the story of how my house turned this quarantine into a photographic studio.
Cómo ya he comentado en post anteriores este año 2020 tuve la dicha de convertirme en mamá y una de las cosas que me hacía mucha ilusión desde que supe que estaba embarazada 🤰 era hacerle las fotos mensuales a mi bebé para documentar su crecimiento durante el primer año.
As I have already commented in previous posts, this year 2020 I had the joy of becoming a mother and one of the things that made me very excited since I found out I was pregnant 🤰 was taking monthly photos of my baby to document his growth during the first year .
Siempre veía en Instagram las páginas de estudios fotográficos profesionales hacer esta clases de fotos he imaginaba cómo serían las de mi bebé . Al momento de nacer mi bebé ya había elegido con cuál estudio trabajaría para hacer las fotos y me puse en contacto con ellos para terminar de finiquitar los detalles.
I always saw on Instagram the pages of professional photographic studios doing these kinds of photos and I imagined what my baby's would be like. By the time my baby was born I had already chosen which studio I would work with to take the photos and I got in touch with them to finish finalizing the details.
Pero oh oh 😯 una semana antes de la sesión mi país entro en cuarentena debido a la pandemia que estaba atravesando el mundo por covi-19 .
But oh oh 😯 a week before the session my country went into quarantine due to the pandemic that was passing through the world due to covi-19.
Y ahora que iba hacer?😫
And now what was I going to do? 😫
Decidida a no darme por vencida para obtener mis fotografías soñadas mi esposo y yo acordamos hacerlas nosotros mismos en casa ya que ahora disponíamos de bastante tiempo libre para hacerlo.
Determined not to give up on getting my dream pictures, my husband and I agreed to take them ourselves at home as we now had plenty of free time to do it.
Buscamos algunos tutoriales en YouTube que nos sirvieran como guía y la verdad no nos ayudaron mucho así que lo que lo hicimos según nuestro criterio.
We looked for some tutorials on YouTube that would serve as a guide and the truth was they did not help us much so what we did according to our criteria.
First Month
Recuerdo que fue un domingo el día que decidimos realizar las fotos mi esposo se despertó temprano para colocar el set que usaríamos el cual consistió: Una sabana blanca , una tela blanca , un colchón de cama 🛏 individual y unos de mis viejos osos de peluche 🧸 .
I remember that it was a Sunday the day we decided to take the photos, my husband woke up early to put the set that we would use which consisted of: A white sheet, a white cloth, a mattress for a single bed unos and some of my old teddy bears
Colocamos el colchón en nuestra sala de estar donde teníamos mas iluminación, la sábana y la tela blanca y adornamos con los peluches este fue nuestro resultado.
We placed the mattress in our living room where we had more lighting, the sheet and the white fabric and we decorated with the stuffed animals this was our result
Para ser la primera vez no nos quedaron tan mal y la verdad es que es muy difícil fotografiar a los bebés aunque no lo crean duramos todo el día haciendo las fotos ya que había momentos en los que el bebé se fastidiaba por sueño , hambre o simplemente no estaba de buen humor para que las tomas quedarán perfectas ; además hay que tener mucha paciencia y buscarle las vueltas al bebé para sacarle una buena toma con una sonrisa o que simplemente se quede quieto.
For the first time, they didn't look so bad and the truth is that it is very difficult to photograph babies, believe it or not, we spent all day taking photos since there were times when the baby was annoyed by sleep, hunger or simply I was not in a good mood for the shots to be perfect; you also have to be very patient and look for the baby's turns to get a good shot with a smile or just stay still
Second month
Para el segundo mes aprendimos de los errores del mes anterior ya conocíamos las poses y las horas en que el bebé se encontraba despierto y de buen humor.
By the second month we learned from the mistakes of the previous month, we already knew the poses and the hours when the baby was awake and in a good mood.
Para el set de este mes volvimos a utilizar el colchón de cama 🛏 individual , la sábana blanca además de una tela azul cielo para cubrir todo el colchón , ropa , la correa del bolso de mi laptop 💻 y una gaveta del closed del bebé.
For this month's set we used the single bed mattress 🛏, the white sheet as well as a sky blue fabric to cover the entire mattress, clothes, the strap of my laptop bag 💻 and a drawer for the baby's closed.
Lo primero que hicimos fue colocar el colchón en el cuarto del bebé lo cubrimos con la sábana blanca y la tela azul cielo
The first thing we did was place the mattress in the baby's room, we covered it with the white sheet and the sky blue fabric.
Luego procedimos a crear el globo aerostático el cual se hizo con camisas de colores doblas y colocadas en forma curvada , con bóxers negro realizamos la banda del globo y los amarres del globo se utilizó la correa del bolso de mi laptop.
Then we proceeded to create the hot air balloon which was made with colored shirts folded and placed in a curved shape, with black boxers we made the balloon band and the balloon ties were used the strap from my laptop bag.
El sol También se realizó con camisas , la nube es un molvil de nube que tenía la cuna del bebé.
The sun was also made with shirts, the cloud is a cloud molvil that had the baby's cradle.
Por último para la cesta del globo se utilizó la gaveta del closet del bebé.
Finally, for the balloon basket, the baby's closet drawer was used.
Colocamos todo arriba del colchón y metimos al bebé dentro de la cesta , utilizamos una escalera para tomar las fotos desde arriba para dar la ilusión de 3D y este fue nuestro resultado:
We placed everything on top of the mattress and put the baby inside the basket, we used a ladder to take the photos from above to give the illusion of 3D and this was our result:
súper encantados con el resultado mejoramos bastante en comparación a las del mes anterior y todos nuestros familiares y amigos estaban muy impresionados con lo que logramos crear .
Super delighted with the result we improved a lot compared to the previous month and all our family and friends were very impressed with what we managed to create.
Tercer mes
Este mes el set fue un poco más sencillo, aprovechando que mi cuñada y su esposo le regalaron al bebé un conjunto de futbolista americano decidimos que ese sería el motivo del mes y solo utilizamos una tela verde grama y hojas de papel para crear un campo de futbol americano con las yardas.
This month the set was a little simpler, taking advantage of the fact that my sister-in-law and her husband gave the baby a set of American football players, we decided that that would be the reason for the month and we only used a grass green fabric and sheets of paper to create a field of football with yards.
Colocamos la tela verde en la cuna del bebé y Cortamos las hojas blancas en tiras para crear las yardas , dibujamos el logo del equipo y cortamos número para marcar las yardas , todo lo sujetamos con alfileres al colchón de la cuna teniendo cuidado de que no lastimaran al bebé y listo .
We put the green fabric in the baby's crib and cut the white sheets into strips to create the yards, we drew the team logo and cut the number to mark the yards, we pinned everything to the crib mattress taking care that they did not hurt to the baby and voila.
Fue difícil realizar las fotos ya que cada vez que el bebé se movía las tiras de papel se deslizaban y todo el campo se estropeaba así que tuvimos que ser rápidos para captar las fotos aunque al final decidimos quitar algunas tiras y terminar las fotos sin estas para mayor comodidad.
It was difficult to take the photos since every time the baby moved the strips of paper slipped and the whole field was damaged so we had to be quick to capture the photos although in the end we decided to remove some strips and finish the photos without these to greater comfort.
Fourth Month
Como motivo de este mes quisimos convertir a nuestro hermoso príncipe en un pequeño mini chef 👨🍳 así que de set utilizamos nuestra cocina ; horneamos un pequeño pastel y unos cakey en los cuales escribimos el número del mes y las letras de este .
As a reason for this month we wanted to turn our beautiful prince into a little mini chef 👨🍳 so on set we used our kitchen; We bake a small cake and some cakey on which we write the number of the month and its letters.
Para el outfit del bebé utilicé tela blanca de pantalón y tela verde agua para crear el delantal y el gorro de chef.
For the baby outfit, I used white trouser fabric and aqua green fabric to create the apron and chef's hat.
Creo que está fue una de mis sesiones favoritas las fotos quedaron sencillas y súper tiernas ame 😍demasiado el resultado me atrevo a decir que incluso nos quedaron mejor que hacerla en un estudio fotográfico profesional.
I think this was one of my favorite sessions, the photos were simple and super cute, love 😍 too much the result, I dare to say that they were even better than taking it in a professional photo studi
Fifth Month
Ya que estamos pasando por una crisis mundial debido a la pandemia por coronavirus en este mes se decidió homenajear a todos los médicos por eso vestimos al bebé cómo un médico cirujano .
Since we are going through a global crisis due to the coronavirus pandemic, this month it was decided to honor all the doctors, so we dress the baby as a surgeon
Se realizó el outfit con tela quirúrgica verdadera de la que usan los doctores para operar.
The outfit was made with real surgical fabric from which doctors use to operate.
En este mes hicimos trampa ya que las fotos no se realizaron en casa esperamos la consulta médica del bebé para pedirle permiso a su doctora de realizarlas en su consultorio, el número y las letras los escribimos con curitas médicas que si teníamos en casa.
This month we cheated since the photos were not taken at home, we wait for the baby's medical consultation to ask her doctor's permission to take them in her office, we wrote the number and letters with medical bandages that we had at home.
Sixth Month
En mi país si un bebé se ha alimentado exclusivamente de lactancia materna al llegar al sexto mes se le hace un acto de graduación como lactante materno.
In my country, if a baby has been exclusively breastfed by the sixth month, he is given a graduation ceremony as a maternal infant.
Para este set solo utilizamos una cortina blanca, los diplomas que hicimos en la computadora y mi medalla de graduación de bachillerato. Para crear el marco utilice el editor de fotos Precious baby que es una maravilla y listo.
For this set we only used a white curtain, the diplomas we made on the computer, and my high school graduation medal. To create the frame use the Precious baby photo editor which is wonderful and voila.
La toga y el birrete fue un regalo de mi tia estás pertenecía a mi prima cuando ella tuvo su acto de lactante materno hace 24 años atrás , así que de puede decir que es una herencia familiar.
The cap and gown was a gift from my aunt, it belonged to my cousin when she had her act of breastfeeding 24 years ago, so it can be said that it is a family heirloom
Cómo pueden ver no se necesitan mucho para crear algo increíble y maravilloso con unas pocas cosas que tengas en casa y algo de imaginación puedes convertir tu hogar en un estudio fotográfico profesional.
How you can see it does not take much to create something incredible and wonderful with a few things that you have at home and some imagination you can turn your home into a professional photo studio.
