Buenas noches, mi nombre es María Mercedes Rodríguez, tengo 56 años de edad, Venezolana, madre soltera, tengo un T.S.U en Administración Industrial, y toda mi vida he trabajado en esa área, soy la segunda de 8 hermanos, profeso la fe cristiana y como todo ser humano tengo muchos defectos y cualidades, con la mejor disposición de ser mejor cada día, como todo venezolano he pasado por cambios brutalmente radicales en mi país, que obviamente me han afectado profundamente y ha marcado mi existencia.
Good evening, my name is Maria Mercedes Rodriguez Rodriguez, I am 56 years old, Venezuelan, single mother, I have a T.S.U. in Industrial Administration, and all my life I have worked in that area, I am the second of 8 brothers, I profess the Christian faith and like every human being I have many defects and qualities, with the best disposition to be better every day, like every Venezuelan I have gone through brutally radical changes in my country, which obviously have affected me deeply and have marked my existence.
A partir de los primeros tres años de haberse implantado el gobierno socialista en mi país, empecé a darme cuenta del trasfondo de este sistema de gobierno, actualmente lo vemos consolidado para la destrucción de un pueblo y el fortalecimiento de un pequeño grupo donde esta represado todas las riquezas de la nación, no voy a relatar todo los acontecimientos porque es conocido a nivel mundial y quizás en otro momento hablare sobre una frase que he oído mucho de que tenemos el gobierno que nos merecemos, porque eso está en discusión.
From the first three years of having implemented the socialist government in my country, I began to realize the background of this system of government, currently we see it consolidated for the destruction of a people and the strengthening of a small group where all the wealth of the nation is dammed, I will not relate all the events because it is known worldwide and perhaps at another time I will talk about a phrase that I have heard a lot that we have the government we deserve, because that is under discussion.
Lo que quiero plantear ahora es que todo este proceso de cambio me ha llevado a considerar muchas situaciones en mi vida, en la vida de mi hijo (que por cierto tiene dos años participando en esta plataforma con distintos temas) y de mi familia en general y en medio de una constante reflexión y lucha diaria de cómo conseguir las provisiones necesarias, incursionando en diferentes labores de manera honesta sin morir en el intento ,me llevo a considerar incursionar en el área del internet específicamente con la comunidad de Hive como un medio más de obtener primeramente otros ingresos, y después como un medio de difundir mi experiencia y alentar a otros sobre el hecho de que en Venezuela, si podemos conseguir oportunidades en medio de situaciones que nos gritan al oído que no hay oportunidades, también mi hijo ha sido una inspiración para atreverme a adaptarme a una temporada que exige mucha voluntad y sacrificio, sacudirnos el pobrecito yo y decir cómo está escrito en la sagrada Biblia , levántate ,resplandece que ha venido tu luz y la gloria de Jehova ha nacido sobre ti ( Isaías 60:1) ó Despiértate tú que duermes y levántate de los muertos y te alumbrará Cristo ( Efesios 5:14).
What I want to say now is that all this process of change has led me to consider many situations in my life, in the life of my son Gabriel (who by the way has two years participating in this platform with different issues) and my family in general and in the midst of a constant reflection and daily struggle of how to get the necessary provisions, entering into different tasks in an honest way without dying in the attempt, led me to consider entering the area of the internet specifically with the community of Hive as a means of first obtaining other income, And then as a means to spread my experience and encourage others about the fact that in Venezuela, if we can get opportunities in the midst of situations that scream in our ears that there are no opportunities, my son has also been an inspiration to dare to adapt myself to a season that demands a lot of will and sacrifice, to shake the poor little me and say how it is written in the Holy Bible, arise, shine that your light has come and the glory of the Lord has been born upon you ( Isaiah 60: 1) or Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light (Ephesians 5:14).

Estamos en peligro de convertir nuestra casa en una tumba y morir en ella no por el Covid-19, si no por resignarnos y aceptar lo inaceptable, Dios nos creó con habilidades y talentos maravillosos, todos los tenemos, el asunto es decidirse a activarlos, cosechar y ver los frutos. Espero que mi incursión en este medio sea de beneficio para otros también.
We are in danger of turning our house into a tomb and dying in it not because of the Covid-19, but because of resignation and acceptance of the unacceptable, God created us with wonderful abilities and talents, we all have them, the point is to decide to activate them, to harvest and see the fruits. I hope that my foray into this medium will be of benefit to others as well.
