Today I cooked another popular filipino dish called sarsyadong tilapia, this dish is made with fried fish usually sauteed or topped with sauteed onion, tomatoes with mix egg. And today I cooked this for the dinner of my workmates which is more than 80 persons, my original plan is to serve just fried fish to them but some of them ask me to put some sauce or toppings, because it is so boring to eat the fried fish alone haha, so I decided to cook this for them...
Cooking and Preparations
Ingredients per serving
fried fish 2pcs(medium size)
sliced onion 1pc
tomatoes 3pcs
egg 2pcs
water 1/4 glass
salt 1/4 teaspoon
MSG 1/4 teaspoon(optional)
Cooking Procedure
We need to prepare the fried fish first, in frying the fish you just need to put right amount of salt and fry it for a few minutes until the color of the fish turns into golden brown.
After frying the fish, let's start on preparing the sauteed toppings ingredients , first slice the onion and tomatoes into small slices and also don't forget the prepare the mixed egg.
Then after preparing the ingredients let's proceed on cooking, first preheat the pan with oil then after preheating the pan put the sliced onions and saute it for at 1 minute then after that, add the tomatoes and saute it again for at least 2-3 minutes.
Then after sauteing the onion and tomatoes put exact amount of water and boil it for at least 1 minute, then after that put the mixed egg and keep on boiling it for at least 3 minutes.
And after a few minutes our sauteed toppings is done, all we need to do is to put thin on the fried fish we prepare recently.
At last after minutes of cooking my "Sarsyadong Tilapia" is cooked well done, time to eat haha.
This recipe is very simple and easy to cook especially when you have leftover fried fish from your previous meals don't hesitate to experiment and try this recipe.
