Christmas dinner with the family.
Cena navideña con la familia.
Friends, these days I have been collapsed by the lack of time, since among so many things I have not had time for almost anything, but, everything in due time and today I wanted to show you a little of how my family dinner was.
Amigos, estos dias he estado colapsado por la falta de tiempo, ya que entre tantas cosas no he tenido tiempo de casi nada, pero, todo a su debido tiempo y hoy quería mostrarles un poco de como fue mi cena familiar.
First of all, I wanted to tell you the following, most of my family is out of the country, so in recent years the dinners had been somewhat simple and with few people because of this. This year things were different, since several of my cousins arrived with their wives and children, more than one person who was out of the country decided to come to spend the holidays with the family and for this reason we were all very excited.
Antes que nada, quería decirles lo siguiente, la gran parte de mi familia esta fuera del país, por lo que en los últimos años las cenas habían sido algo sencillas y con pocas personas debido a esto mismo. Este año las cosas diferentes, ya que varios de mis primos llegaron con sus esposas y sus hijos, mas de una persona que estaba fuera decidió venir a pasas las fiestas en familia y por esto mismo todos estábamos muy emocionados.
Early that day the whole family was at home, arranging the hallacas as well as the rest of the dinner. Everyone commanded by my grandmother arranged the main things for dinner and after they went home to get ready, we set up the table where the food would be served.
Desde temprano ese día la familia entera estaba en casa, arreglando tanto las hallacas como los demás acompañantes para la cena. Todos comandados por mi abuela arreglaron lo principal para la cena y después de que se fueran a casa para arreglarse, montamos la mesa donde se serviría la comida.
The dinner was something very special for us because many were stepping into this house with that longing of so many years spent enjoying it as a family, while we all felt the warmth of home and well made food. After dinner many jokes, laughter and food to bursting. We opened the best bottle that was found and started celebrating for the nice reunion, this is what happened on my #Christmas night and I wanted to tell everyone about it. La cena fue algo muy especial para nosotros porque muchos pisaban esta casa con ese anhelo de tantos años pasados disfrutando en familia, mientras que todos sentíamos el calor del hogar y de la comida bien hecha. Después de la cena muchos chistes, risas y comida hasta reventar. Abrimos la mejor botella que se encontró y comenzamos a celebrar por el bonito reencuentro, esto es lo que paso en mi noche de #navidad y quería contárselo a todos. Espero pronto verlos en otro post y de antemano desearles un #happynewyear a todos.
