In the 👉 First part 👈 of this project we made a tour from the origin of this peculiar notebook made with recycled CDs. How a simple, improvised and disastrous sketch could be transformed into something so complex.
In 👉 Second part 👈 we learned how to create a beautiful creative, handcrafted packaging with a simple old cardboard box.
In this third and final part, it's time to assemble every piece of this magical puzzle.
En la 👉 Primera parte 👈 of this project we made a tour from de éste proyecto viajamos desde el origen de ésta peculiar libreta de notas hecha con CD's reciclados. De cómo un simple, improvisado y desastroso boceto pudo transformarse en algo tan complejo.
En la 👉 Segunda parte 👈 aprendimos a crear un hermoso empaque creativo, artesanal con una simple caja de cartón vieja.
Y en ésta tercera y última parte, es hora de ensamblar cada pieza de éste mágico rompecabezas.

When I had each piece ready, painted, cut out, I began to organize each element, so that it would look harmonious.
Cuando ya tenía cada pieza lista, pintada, recortada, comencé a organizar cada elemento, para que se viera armónico.
To achieve that three-dimensional effect with each of the overlapping figures, i chose to cut out small circles of foamy, as this is something thick and smooth textured, it is perfect for this project.
Para lograr ese efecto tridimensional con cada una de las figuras superpuestas, opté por recortar pequeños círculos de foamy, ya que este es algo grueso y de textura suave, es perfecto para éste proyecto.
Little by little, i glued the small circles in strategic places on each figure until it was completely assembled. It requires a lot of patience and delicacy.
Poco a poco, fui pegando los pequeños círculos en sitios estratégicos de cada figura hasta armarlo por completo. Requiere de mucha paciencia y delicadeza.
I admit i was excited as it began to take shape. When i finally glued all the pieces together, i waited for the glue to dry very well.
Admito que me emocionaba mientras comenzaba a tomar forma. Cuando finalmente pegué todas las piezas , esperé que secara muy bien el pegamento.
When it dried, i added small details such as glitter or frost, some crystals. And of course, i previously cut out some sheets of notebooks that i no longer used, and with the help of punchers and a string, i assembled the notebook and that was it.
Cuando secó, agregué pequeños detalles como purpurina o escarcha, algunos cristales, canutillos. Y por supuesto, previamente recorté algunas hojas de cuadernos que ya no utilizaba, y con la ayuda de perforadores y una cuerda, ensamblé la libreta de notas y listo.

The truth is that i love recycling and every time i find something to reuse and transform, i don't think twice about it. This time, the materials selected were CD's, cardboard boxes and paper. I'll probably be creating more things with these materials, since i have a lot of them and in these times it's good to give a new life to what we call "garbage". Our beautiful planet will thank us for it. The art of recycling is wonderful.
La verdad es que me encanta reciclar y cada vez que encuentro algo para reusar y transformar, no lo pienso dos veces. Ésta vez , los materiales seleccionados fueron CD's, cajas de cartón y papel. Probablemente estaré creando más cosas con éstos materiales , ya que tengo muchos y en éstas épocas nos viene muy bien darle una nueva vida a eso que llamamos "basura". Nuestro lindo planeta nos lo agradecerá. El arte del reciclaje es maravilloso. 💚
I loved the final result of this project, painting each piece was therapeutic, relaxing and entertaining. Definitely creating with our hands is magic and we all have that endless source of magic inside.
Me encantó el resultado final de éste proyecto, pintar cada pieza fue terapéutico, relajante y entretenido. Definitivamente crear con nuestras manos es mágico y todos tenemos esa fuente inagotable de magia por dentro.
And so this story ends, now my little mermaid is ready to be adopted.
Y así termina ésta historia, ahora mi sirenita está lista para ser adoptada.
