Hello dear friends, Welcome to my Blog. Today I want to share with you. How can you prepare a delicious and nutritious rice with vegetables? Here I have a fabulous option for you, where you can enjoy a complete dish, colorful, with different textures, delicious, rich in nutrients and best of all, low in cost and easy to prepare.

This dish is perfect for any occasion or time of the year.

Nutritious Rice with Vegetables

Ingredients:

☑️ 1 kilo of Rice (For 8 people)
☑️ 100 ml of olive or vegetable oil.
☑️ 3 Young corn on the cob or 1 can of corn.
☑️ 2 Carrots.
☑️ 4 Ajies
☑️ 3 Branches of coriander.
☑️ 1 Branch of chives.
☑️ Soy sauce.
☑️ Salt and pepper to taste.

⏲ Cooking time: 25 minutes


Steps for preparation:

Step 1

Shell your ears of young corn and place in a pot with 500 milliliters of water to cook for 15 minutes, over high heat until soft. Remove from the kitchen and let cool.

Step 2

Place your stove over medium heat and in a large pot, add 100 milliliters of oil, let heat and proceed to add all the vegetables previously cut into small pieces: (Carrot, chives, chili peppers, coriander).

Step 3

Sauté your vegetables over medium heat with the help of a wooden paddle without stopping moving for 5 minutes. Proceed to season with salt and pepper to taste. And stir again with the wooden trowel.

Step 4

Add the rice, to the sautéed vegetables and mix for 3 minutes and immediately add 4 tablespoons of the soy sauce and loose corn kernels and mix again.

Step 5

So that you have a perfect loose rice. Add the water to the rice, keep in mind that for each cup of rice you must add 2 cups of water, and mix for the last time.

Step 6

Between 10 to 12 minutes the rice will begin to boil, it is time to put the lid on it, and lower the stove to low heat. After 5 minutes you will have a rice ready and perfect to serve.
