We speak with words, phrases and concepts. We form sentences, create ideas and express our feelings when we open our lips to gesture. We absorb information, we feed on each other's thoughts. Regardless of language, we always manage to understand each other.
We express what we feel to our loved ones, we ask for what we want with a word accompanied by thanksgiving, we read and interpret after learning the alphabet. Speaking complements us in many ways, what we say plays an important role in the person we become.

To speak, you must first know how to listen. We hear everything around us, but we only listen to what is of interest to us. Sometimes you have to know how to be silent to understand, silence is also heard, perceived and stuns our being.
Arriving at a place for the first time and not handling the terms we hear from other interlocutors is really frustrating. Thinking differently and trying to fit into a society that is full of prejudices, pointing out and rejecting what is not common, is a sign of the lack of interest we feel for each other.

One day I had the opportunity to learn to speak with my hands, to express myself with grimaces, to practice my gesticulation. Listening with my eyes, perceiving with my surroundings and capturing information with an accentuated concentration.
At that moment I understood that we will never become aware of what we have, of the great resource we have, and of how happy we are to have in our hands such a great element, as the word is.

In that class I discovered that I love to talk, but not only with my lips.

Hello Dear friends of Hive!
After a few days lost, I resume with this post in which I wanted to show you something that I am passionate about and that I discovered through an invitation to take a Sign Language course at my University.
At the beginning I did this course as a training to deepen my activities of public attention in my career. What I didn't know is that I would be fascinated with the world of Sign Language, finishing the first level with a desire to know more and not just for instruction.
This love of sign language also came from the course facilitator, who not only teaches you how to move your hands to sign, but also makes you live what you express.

When I presented my graduate work for the T.S.U. degree, I was overcome with the idea of creating an approach guide to care for hearing impaired patients. It was very difficult to get it approved, since my tutor had to confirm that she would really know how to write it, but with the help of my facilitator and the advice of one of the members of the deaf community in my area I was able to finish it.
For me it is very important to emphasize that in a society where the numbers of deaf people in the world are increasing, the interest in understanding their language must be awakened in each one of us. We don't need life to put us in a bad moment where we have to learn to talk to a deaf person out of obligation.

Let us be able to become sensitive to them, because they adapt to our language and make an effort to understand us when we know how to react to their presence. As a result of this, I began to consider a career as an interpreter.
Thanks for reading this little part of me ♡ Until the next post.

Hi @nanytioner, We started communication process since when we were born to the world. We started to the read and talk after learn alphabet. But before studying it we communicate through face expressions and crying styles. Look at the baby's expressions.

To speak, you must first know how to listen. We hear everything around us, but we only listen to what is of interest to us.

Completely agree with you. Listening plays huge role of communication progress. It's improve how to talk with others awesomely and attractively. Sometimes we don't like to listen others speeches but they don't going to stop their conversation. So if someone face like this moment immediately want to stop his talk.
