Desde hace mas de dos semanas, la ciudad de Antofagasta se encuentra bajo estricta cuarentena, debido a un aumento significativo de los casos de la enfermedad que actualmente está sufriendo la humanidad. Las fotos que presento en este post fueron tomadas unos días antes de que entrara en vigencia el confinamiento.
The Chilean city of Antofagasta has ben under strict lockdown, for more than two weeks. This measure was taken due to the significant increase of cases of the current diseases that humanity is suffering. The photos that I show were taken a few days before the quarantine started.
Las imágenes muestran la alegría de la gente al disfrutar el verano descansando frente al mar, bañándose en él o pescando. Actualmente en pleno periodo de vacaciones estivales, no es posible ir a la playa.
The images show the happiness of people enjoying the Southern summer: siting in front of sea, swinging or fishing. Currently there are the summer holidays, however it is not possible to go the beach.
En la segunda imagen se observa parte de la silueta del puerto y algunas de las edificaciones del borde costero.
The second photo shows part of the port of the city and some of the buildings located at the sea front.
La tercera y cuarta fotografías fueron tomada en el balneario de la ciudad.
The third and fourth photos were taken at one of the (man made) beaches of the city.
Todas las imágenes fueron tomadas con la cámara del teléfono móvil Samsung Galaxy S20 y posteriormente procesadas usando Gimp.
All the photos were taken with a Samsung Galaxy S20 and later processed with Gimp.
