Moments ago I was editing my response to a post, filtering my text and finding the most concise words to drive my message. It is probably the most difficult task. However, I think writing concisely is the key to gaining your audience’s attention.
Writing is an art form I appreciate. It transcends the mundane task of just stringing words together. I consider it to be the deliberate act of conveying one’s ideas and thoughts in a unique way. The same can be said about oratory, which is the tactful use of spoken words.
Poetry (both spoken and written) is a perfect example of the mastery of words, carefully crafted to evoke emotions. This is the work of every creative writer or anyone who wants to leverage the power of language.
Our ability to harness the power of written or spoken words determines, to a large extent, how far we can go in life. An articulate speech with the right emotional cue might just be your ticket to your big break.
Everyone can learn to speak and write better than the average person. I was never good at writing or speaking--still struggle with this part. Over the years I have developed my writing and although I am not the best content creator out there, I think I am well above the average person.
What makes a piece of writing great?
Keep it simple (not stupid). Some of the best writers I know can convey their thoughts and ideas in the most simplistic way possible without overwhelming their audience with bogus words and overly lengthy sentences.
With every post, I try to encapsulate my ideas in the most concise way possible, following every point with a practical experiment. This way I engage my audience and also provide room for discussion.
It is no brainer why people enjoy short-form contact. Aside from the short attention span people suffer from, most people appreciate it when you don’t waste their time. However, brevity cannot compensate for quantity. In your bid to be concise you must drive home your point, you must work around the constraint of having few words to say a lot.
One key way I practise conciseness in writing is by going through every sentence and finding alternative ways of replicating them. From this array of options, I choose the best option that captures my idea.
Also, I have found the Grammarly extension to be a useful tool. The AI helps to preview your article, offering you tips and corrections to help improve the quality of your piece. If you are looking to improve your writing, Grammarly app/extension to have on your device.
Lastly, practise. The more you write the better you get at it. There is no substitute for practice, you need to put in the time to write and challenge yourself. Learn new tricks and tips on how to improve your writing. There are a couple of free writing courses on the internet. A little time investment is all you need to improve.

Words spoken or written can never be taken back! Sometimes people write some things but they totally mean something differently.
Writing isn't as easy as I thought, I recently started learning how to write,the use of puctuations. It is easy to get an idea to write about but the main job is passing the message the way you want it to be Recieved.

Grammarly has done wonders for my writing, I would recommend it to everyone, also the art of keeping your articles simple are important so even the littlest child can understand it.
Yeah...there is a saying that if you cannot explain your idea to a 2-year-old then you don't understand it well enough. simplifying your idea makes it cut across different demographics. A lot of people get to appreciate your view if you make them understand it

You write quite well. I could take a lesson from you. I enjoy reading your posts because you communicate well and make it look easy. My main goal is to be understood and I edit myself accordingly. Keep it simple and try to minimize verbosity. I haven't done too bad for myself but I doubt I'd ever win a Pulitzer. 😀
