Desde hace dos milenios el hombre occidental ha estado en una búsqueda frenética de las reliquias más importante del cristianismo. Con una pasión desbordada, han avasallado pueblos enteros, derribado murallas impenetrables y sembrados millones de cuerpos en los campos de batalla con tal de encontrar un objeto que les garantice el poder divino. Sus mentes obnubiladas confunden objetos materiales con objetos de fe, con normas de conducta y modos de vida. Para la trascendencia y la grandeza, un ser humano no requiere de dinero, ni de un poder efímero, sino de trato amable para con sus semejantes, de un corazón noble que le dicte a su boca palabras que construyan. Por esa razón, para mí la congruencia es el santo grial de la vida.

Que si el grial es una copa de madera o de oro, que si es mágica o no es una discusión que ha involucrado a miles de historiadores. Ha servido este cáliz de vida para todo lo contrario, las cruzadas y otras tantas incursiones bélicas en su búsqueda han costado la vida a miles de personas y hasta han sido exterminadas culturas. Es entre esta barbarie surgida en su nombre, solo se salva la aparición de los nobles caballeros del temple.
Los templarios, como son popularmente conocidos comprendieron que la santa reliquia en sí mismo no era la fuente de un poder divino, sino que el poder estaba en la propia búsqueda. En el transitar del camino agreste y duro desde Europa hasta llegar a tierra santa, para la reconquista de Jerusalén comprendieron que era más importante conectarse con las enseñanzas y prédicas de nuestro señor Jesucristo. La mayor característica de estos monjes guerreros fue sus votos de pobreza, y aun cuando llegaron a ser la orden más rica y poderosa de la Europa medieval sus miembros llevaban una vida austera y daban un trato justo a sus vasallos. Esta justica en el manejo de las riquezas los llevo a convertirse en los primeros banqueros conocidos en la historia. De las pocas cartas y escrituras que le sobre vieron se puede desprender que el trato ameno y respetuoso entre sus pares y con otros miembros de la sociedad. Procuraban no ofender ni de palabra ni de omisión.

En el presente siglo casi todo el mundo entiende que las sagradas escrituras han perdurado a través de los siglos, es quizás debido al carácter metafóricos de las mismas. Así cada generación ha ido interpretándolas según las costumbres de la época. Pero en cuanto a las normas y pautas de conductas son literales y deben seguirse al pie de la letra. No solo hay que profesarlas, leer o montarlas en un meme o post para que los seguidores y contactos vean que usted es un conocedor de las sagradas escrituras sino que debe vivir según lo que ellas dictan. El santo grial de la vida es entonces llevar una vida que se parezca a lo que usted dice que piensa y en tiempos de redes sociales que se parezca a lo que usted postea, de que te vale postear de amor al prójimo y luego gritas, ofendes y participas en intrigas contra tus semejantes.

Ahora no hay que hacer vota de pobreza y menos de castidad como los antiguos templarios, pero si debe ser coherente con lo que profesa.

In the present century almost everyone understands that the sacred scriptures have endured through the centuries, perhaps due to their metaphorical character. Thus each generation has been interpreting them according to the customs of the time. But as for the rules and guidelines of conduct, they are literal and must be followed to the letter. Not only must they be professed, read or mounted in a meme or post for followers and contacts to see that you are a connoisseur of the holy scriptures but you must live by what they dictate. The holy grail of life then is to lead a life that resembles what you say you think and in times of social networking that resembles what you post, what good is it to post about loving your fellow man and then shout, offend and engage in intrigues against your fellow man.
