YOLO

The idea of YOLO has been on my mind a lot lately. For those of my fellow Boomers and Xers YOLO, stands for You Only Live Once. YOLO is a mindset I have always fancied, yet not entirely embraced. I hope to remedy that somewhat because the YOLO mindset has a lot going for it. As far as we know for a certainty at this point in time, it seems to be true. It appears to be that for whatever reason, we have been given a single, one time only, ticket for this life. No re-do's and no rewinds allowed.

If I were able to go back in time, there is so much I would like to change. So many things that I sat up at night and worried about, that never even came to pass. Of course the ones that did come to pass often never amounted to much anyways. Not much good ever came from worrying, that much I am certain about. Getting older is not much fun, but gaining wisdom and maturity certainly are valuable gifts. Funny that they seem to be only created via hard times and hard work.

I am going out on a limb here but I wonder if YOLO is not back of, at least partially, the decision for Bill and Melinda Gates to file for divorce?

To me YOLO means making changes and making up for lost time before it is too late. How do you see YOLO and what does it mean to you??

The flowers or buds on the tree that are in pink colour is about a shape of cupid!

I like the words that you have told about getting old is prior to wisdom and maturity, all of the photos are very good looking.

To me is try to do the things you want as much as you can but not at the extend of taking risk you want to. To some it means try everything as much as you can. We have a bank here that issue a card and brand it YOLO. https://www.uob.com.sg/personal/cards/credit/yolo/

Haha! I love it !!! :))

I think I have been living it for years. I realize that I only live once and I will say that I give myself permission to take as many vacations as I can get time for, spend quality time with my kids and siblings and do something special for some people I know that can't afford to live like that.

It is not much fun living out your fantasies if you know someone you love cannot afford the cab fare to see you off.

Absolutely no rewinds and re-dos for our life, if only we did then I could experience the best times over again. 🙏
