Se trata del diseño de un oso panda en papel, que estará decorando una mesa en un baby shower 😍 y es que está temática ha estado muy de moda en todo lo relacionado a decoración Infantil. Este oso luce muy tierno y se puede utilizar para niña y niño.
It is the design of a panda bear on paper, which will be decorating a table at a baby shower 😍 and is that this theme has been very fashionable in everything related to children's decor. This bear looks very cute and can be used for both boys and girls.

Te cuento que estos osos son símbolo de cultura y tradición en China. Por ejemplo, sus colores blanco y negro significan el yin y el yan, es decir, la importancia del equilibrio entre energías. A pesar de su dulzura aparente, tienen una fortaleza inmensa, otra de las virtudes representadas en el oso panda.
I tell you that these bears are a symbol of culture and tradition in China. For example, their black and white colors mean yin and yan, that is, the importance of balance between energies. Despite their apparent sweetness, they have immense strength, another of the virtues represented in the panda bear.
Algunas curiosidades sobre este Oso
Some curiosities about this Bear
- Son carnívoros, pero comen bambú. Es curioso pensar que el alimento preferido de un enorme carnívoro como es el oso panda, sea el bambú. De hecho, come unos doce kilogramos al día de esta planta, la cual le permite mantenerse excepcionalmente fuerte.
They are carnivorous, but they eat bamboo. It is curious to think that the favorite food of a huge carnivore like the panda bear is bamboo. In fact, it eats about twelve kilograms a day of this plant, which allows it to remain exceptionally strong.
- Nacen completamente blancos, pues las manchas aparecen después.
They are born completely white, because the spots appear later.
- Son solitarios. Seguro que te encantaría tener uno en casa y estar consintiendolo todo el tiempo, sin embargo no te dejaría. El oso panda es solitario, y cual monje de Tíbet, camina solo por la vida buscando comida y lugares en los que meditar.
They are solitary. I'm sure you'd love to have one at home and be spoiled all the time, but I wouldn't let you. The panda bear is lonely, and like a monk in Tibet, it walks through life alone looking for food and places to meditate.
- No hibernan. A diferencia de otros osos, el panda no hiberna, ya que su principal fuente de alimento el bambú no le permite acumular reservas de grasa para poder dormir durante meses.
They do not hibernate. Unlike other bears, the panda does not hibernate, as its main food source, bamboo, does not allow it to build up fat reserves to sleep for months.
Aquí te muestro el paso a paso para construir el oso panda en papel. Esta fue la propuesta presentada, la realice en papel Bond blanco y pinte con creyon. Para el proyecto trabajaré con papel lustrillo negro y se harán 3 modelos de osos de variados tamaños y aproximadamente 16 caras de oso panda que serán para decorar los postres.
Here I show you the step by step to build the panda bear in paper. This was the proposal presented, make it in white Bond paper and paint it with crayon. For the project I will work with black glossy paper and will make 3 models of bears of various sizes and approximately 16 faces of panda bears that will be to decorate the desserts.
Necesité
2 hojas cuadradas de papel del mismo tamaño.
I needed
2 square sheets of paper of the same size.
Este diseño se hace en dos etapas, la primera es para construir la cabeza del oso y una segunda etapa para construir el cuerpo.
This design is made in two stages, the first is to build the bear's head and a second stage to build the body.

Se inicia doblando la hoja en diagonal en ambos sentidos para marcar el papel.
Luego se hace un doblez en diagonal dejando un borde de 1cm.
- Llevas la esquina hacia el borde de la hoja por el medio. Marcas un doblez en la mitad.
- Llevas la esquina hacia la marca que se hizo del paso anterior
- Y se repite el mismo paso. Lograras tres marcas.
En la imágen puedes observar el detalle de cada paso.
It starts by folding the sheet diagonally in both directions to mark the paper.
Then it is folded diagonally leaving a 1cm edge.
- You take the corner towards the edge of the sheet in the middle. You mark a fold in the middle.
- Take the corner towards the mark made in the previous step
- And the same step is repeated. You will achieve three marks.

- La esquina superior se dobla y se hace conincidir con la esquina inferior
- Luego se dobla hasta la marca.
En la imágen se puede apreciar al detalle cada paso
- The upper corner is bent to match the lower corner.
- Then it is bent to the mark.

- Los extremos laterales se doblan hacia arriba llevando hasta la marca del centro
- Luego se doblan por la mitad en sentido contrario. Lo llevas hacia abajo en este caso.
- The lateral ends are bent upwards to the center mark
- Then they are folded in half in the opposite direction. You bring it down in this case.
- Hacer un doblez formando un ángulo de 90°
- Los extremos laterales doblarlos haciendolos coincidir con doblez del paso anterior.
- Make a bend at a 90° angle
- The lateral ends are bent to coincide with the bending of the previous step.
- Darle vuelta al papel
- Doblar hasta la altura de las esquinas que están debajo de las orejas.
Dobla todas las esquinas para que queden redondeadas y puedas definir la figura
- Turn the paper over
- Fold up to the height of the corners under the ears.
Fold all the corners so that they are rounded and you can define the figure.

- Se hace el doblez por la mitad del papel en ambos sentidos.
- Se hace coincidir todos los extremos del papel con la marca del centro de la hoja.
- The paper is folded in half in both directions.
- Match all the ends of the paper with the mark in the middle of the sheet.
- Se doblan las dos puntas del rectángulo para formar un triángulo de cada lado.
- Se abre el doblez del triángulo y se invierte.
- Bend the two ends of the rectangle to form a triangle on each side.
- Open the fold of the triangle and invert it.
- Las esquinas superiores se llevan hasta la marca del centro de la hoja.
- Voltea la hoja y dobla hacia arriba.
- The top corners are brought to the center sheet mark.
- Turn the sheet over and fold it up
- Hacer un triángulo doblando la parte inferior. Esto se hace en ambos lados.
- Desdoblas los triángulos y los inviertes.
- Make a triangle by bending the bottom. This is done on both sides.
- Unfold the triangles and invert them.
Volteal la hoja para continuar con los pasos.
Turn the page to continue with the steps.

Este modelo me encanta porque aunque es un origami el diseño no se ve totalmente plano, de hecho el oso panda se mantiene de pie.
I love this model because even though it is an origami the design does not look totally flat, in fact the panda bear stands upright.
