En su Habitad natural no tuvimos oportunidad de verlas sin embargo en el laboratorio del GTTMGV tenian algunas especie en cautiverio verificando si estaban enfermas y si padecían algun mal, en la foto anterior se ve un caso de tortuga Carey dorada fue atrapada en costas australianas inicialmente, nadó lejos para alimentarse hasta acá al caribe 🐢 fue un caso especial porque de ese color es sumamente difícil que se vean les dejo un enlace de como se ve una tortuga carey comun...

Estuvimos con los biólogos un grupo de amigos y yo, conversando y aprendiendo sobre ellas, tenían dos, una verde y una carey en agua dulce, nos dijeron que podian sobrevivír en ese ambiente durante 6 meses, por falta de recuros no las tenian en piscinas o tanques mas grandes, pero pronto Ibán a liberarlas...
We were with the biologists, a group of friends and I, talking and learning about them, they had two, a green one and a tortoiseshell in fresh water, they told us that they could survive in that environment during 6 months, for lack of resources they did not have them in pools or bigger tanks, but soon they were going to release them.

a pesar que el proyecto no tuvo exito muchos de nostros seguimos aportando a la causa de estas nobles amigas de los oceanos, concientizando y apoyando a especialistas y biologos, no m quiero despedir sin antes recordarles que sean mas empáticos con la naturaleza y el ambiente, todos podemos aportar para salvar el planeta

si lo son, a mi me encantan las cardon, son casi prehistoricas estidarlas es muy complicado. Sabias que la mayoria de las tortugas que se atrapan en costas son hembras? los machos una vez que entran al mar nunca vuelven a pisar tierra firme...

Felicitaciones por el proyecto que están siguiendo, esto genera toma de conciencia hacia el cuidado de la fauna, en este caso marina.
si amigo, realmente las tortugas son una especie vital dentro de la fauna marina, poco a poco vamos sumando adeptos a esta causa y vamos creando mayor respeto y colaboración hacia estos animalitos tan importantes.
