RE: 3D Printing The Future! - Introduction Post

Doesn't state having a INTJ personality but I have a feeling you're also one. ๐Ÿ˜Ž Welcome!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm an INFJ actually, but you were very close! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think over time this will become less of a issue. As amateurs experiment with ideas and patents eventually expire into the public domain a lot of things about 3D printing will become more user friendly.

I was thinking earlier about this, and what it would entail for mainstream consumer use. I do not think the current tech has any place in the mainstream arena because of the level of troubleshooting abilities it takes for one to proficiently print. I'm not suggesting average folks are not intelligent enough for 3D printing, but we live in a fast past society of instant gratification.

If I weren't focused on developing my 3D printing skills to design assistive technology I'd be thinking about how to add a.i. automation to 3D printers.

As a continuance to the thought, A.I. automation of maintenance and calibration would indeed be the perfect solution for mainstream user incorporation.
It's going to be very interesting to see how the technology progresses. 3D printed houses are already a thing.

I think it's really cool that you are interested in designing assistive tech, and I look forward to learning from one another, thanks so much for the support and conversation. It was a pleasure chatting! ๐Ÿ˜€
