A few days ago I have adopted a puppy for myself and I have shared a video with everyone where I have shown from where and how I got her. I already have a dog which lives me with my sister in my country. I am a dog lover and I really love dogs. I know many Muslims doesn't like a dog because of religious point but honestly speaking I don't care. For me, a dog can be a best friend, the best companion for you.
My first dog was from Splitz breed and another dog was from Lasa breed. Then later, my first dog gave 5 beautiful babies, two of them are still with my family, one with my sister and one with my father. Other's I gave to my friends and dropped for adoption. Later, one of a familiar individual adopted my first dog.
After coming here, I was not so sure whether I am gonna able to get a dog for myself or not because raising a puppy is not an easy job. Plus, I was so busy with study and settling myself here so the entire topic was out of my mind.
But one thing was in my mind and that is when I will be a little bit stable, I will adopt a dog. But how, when, and from where I had no idea.
After leading a quarantine life, I decided that it's time to welcome a new family member in my life. I started searching for a dog so first I checked on Instagram to understand the market. My initial plan was to adopt a small dog for myself, most Pomeranian, Splitz, or Maltese but suddenly I decided to go for Labrador Retriever.
Many people asked me why a big dog?
One thing was inside my mind, I need a companion and friend, a loyal friend who will be always with me...
Anyway, so far everything is going well, she is not allowed to go for a walk because she is only 1 month plus old. Some vaccination is still pending and she will be ready after 2 months to go out. She has adopted my companion already and she already knows that she has to live with me.
The first day was intense and we both tried to adjust with each other. She has a lot of toys now which keep her busy always though she wants to chew everything.
She is growing faster and a quick learner too. Most important thing about Labrador is you have to take care of their meal and about their energy. Their energy level is high so you have to keep them busy and play with them so that they won't become frustrated. You have to maintain and scheduled their meal too otherwise they will gain weight and become overweight.
One of my friends helped me a lot to get her. First I saw her owner online and then I met her and decided to adopt her puppy.
My dog has her own bed but she never sleeps on it, instead, she choose my bed for her. She loves to chew my shoelace, rugs, her collar, and my hair... But she loves to chew everything whenever she feels bored.
She is stubborn too...
Finally, I have decided her name and that is "Gigi", my sister gave her this name and requested me to call her Gigi. She also loves the name too, whenever I call her Gigi, she comes to me. She started jumping already and getting bigger...
Gigi as a girl's name is of French origin meaning "earth-worker or God is gracious". It is a pet form of names like Georgina, Virginia, etc.
I know she will be a big dog soon but her childhood will be always memorable for me...

We also decided to adopt during quarantine -- a female Siberian husky puppy who already turned four months old.🐾
Time flies by...and so do all of the chewed up stuffed toys and anything within their mouth's reach! Chomp!
I try to take at least one photo a day of our puppy because she grow up rapidly and changes every day!

My third choice was Siberian Husky as my first choice was small dogs. But I was actually not ready for husky because they required a lot of spaces and they become bored so easily. I really like huskies and their eyes, something hidden inside them and I feel they hold the entire world of the ocean into their eyes, or maybe Ice life...
You should start writing about her because she will be big so fast and I think you will miss her puppy life...

Our husky's name is Nymeria (son named her after Aria's direwolf from the Game of Thrones). She is growing at a rapid pace - 4 months old and already 27 pounds!
I know I definitely need to post her cute photos to catch up on all the days and weeks of her being little. She requires a lot of work to burn off her energy and is a great assistance in keeping her humans fit through exercising, especially speed-walking!🐕💨🚶♀️🚶♂️

Yes, Labrador also needs exercises, I am getting ready for a long walk and for outdoor activities for her. Just check Nymeria's pictures, she is adorable and fluffy too...

Well, I'm truly glad your doggy has it's summary and job title figured out.
Chew, eat, poop, sleep. Those are a Labrador's jobs as a puppy and it sounds like Gigi has taken to her job actively.

Well, she is not lazy at all so after coming here in my home, she found her desired job. Gigi is growing so fast and every day I feel that she is growing and getting bigger. She is intelligent and she does many new things which were unknown to me.
I hope one day she will be one of my best friends, I have heard a lot of Labrador stories. My friends, the family already love her so much but unfortunately, because of COVID nobody can't come and meet her. Right now her new job is jumping and destroying the entire home. I am trying to train her and already she adopted her name and so many things. She is a quick learner and a very active dog.
I will try to do a photoshoot with her when she will be a little bit older. Right now, she is living her best life without any barrier I would say...

Labs tend to be loyal and friendly. They really want to be good dogs, so they are easy to train. (After a while, they are real blockheads as pups).
The destruction will slow significantly pretty soon. But they really don't have all four feet on the ground at one time until they are a year old... Designated 'chew items' can help lots. But you might as well plan on Gigi eating most of a roll of toilet paper at some point...
She loves tissues as well though something interesting inside her which I have noticed recently. At the end of the day, she needs me and comes to me, she sleeps beside me which is the sweetest thing I feel. That attitude of her reminds me that she already accepted me as her mother and she knows that she needs me...
Well, I know soon her destructive attitude will reduce, no matter how much energy I have to spend for her in the whole day, her sleepy face, adorable attitude reminds me that she is a baby girl... :)

I love German Shepherd. I had one years ago, but he died of poison.

Well, Gigi is easy to pronounce plus also love the meaning as well. Four names were in my mind, Sushi, Wendy, Gigi, and Melaine but finally I saw she kinda like Gigi's name and response also...
