Una vez más vengo a contarles como me fue en mi última guardia, empezamos el día yéndonos en el transporte que por fin trabajo un día de nuestra guardia, uno de nuestros compañeros esta de reposo por síntomas de COVID y no asistió, solo éramos 6 personas, gracias a Dios tuve la ayuda de uno de los bachilleres que de verdad es súper colaborador y me ayudo muchísimo en la guardia si no hubiese sido por él no sé qué hubiera hecho.

Hubieron 4 cesáreas de emergencia y dos partos difíciles, me la pase entre el quirófano, sala de partos y la emergencia, no saben lo agotada que me sentía en la guardia ese estrés de estar aquí y allá no fue bueno para mí, ya que como las 7 de la noche me di cuenta que de tanto trabajo y estrés que tuve me salió un herpes, mi mal cuando no me siento bien, y no es que tenga mi sistema inmunológico deprimido si no que ya mi cuerpo esta tan agotado de tanto trabajo que lo somatiza.
There were 4 emergency cesarean sections and two difficult deliveries, I spent my time between the operating room, delivery room and emergency room, you do not know how exhausted I felt in the guard that stress of being here and there was not good for me, because at about 7 at night I realized that so much work and stress I had a herpes, my bad when I do not feel well, and it is not that my immune system is depressed but that my body is so exhausted from so much work that somatizes it.
Sin embargo me disfrute mucho mi guardia porque a pesar del trabajo, hice lo que más me gusta que es recibir a los bebes luego del parto.
However, I really enjoyed my shift because despite the work, I did what I like the most, which is to receive the babies after delivery.
La anécdota de esta guardia fue que llego un niño con una mordedura de perro en la cara debíamos suturarlo pero en el hospital ese día no contábamos con suturas, resulta que le digo a la mamá que la compre porque no había de otra y la señora me llegó con una sutura en una bolsa y yo le digo señora eso no está estéril como quiere que se suture así , la señora furiosa se quería llevar al niño entonces firmamos un acta como ella se retiraría en contra opinión médica, luego de algunos minutos una de mis superiores me trajo una sutura y pudimos solucionarlo, gracias a dios ya yo había hecho mi reporte, porque a veces también debemos cuidarnos la espalda de los familiares que no comprende la situación del paciente.
The anecdote of this shift was that a child arrived with a dog bite on his face and we had to suture him but in the hospital that day we did not have sutures, I told the mother to buy them because there was no other way and the lady came to me with a suture in a bag and I told her that it was not sterile and she wanted me to suture him like that, After a few minutes one of my superiors brought me a suture and we were able to solve it, thank God I had already made my report, because sometimes we must also take care of the back of the relatives who do not understand the situation of the patient.
