Once, long ago
The world used to be a place of refuge
To both the sick and healthy
The poor and wealthy
Due to the safe presence
Of the good natured Patriots
Patriots who stuck their necks out willingly
To ensure the safety of lives and property
Who without much nagging
Satisfied their interest
And gave all their best
For the world to be at rest
Greed as the order of the day
Has transformed men into monsters
Wanting always to satisfy their desires
And never minding who get hurt
Change the choice of the way
Things once seemed to be
Patriots who once fight for freedom
From excruciating slavery
To be rulers of their own dynasty
Are now living in the penuary of the room
Which emanated from lust for game
And the sting of selfish games
How many should be left
To prey the path of untimely death
Because of lack of concern?
How many more should be ignored
To wander into the depths of danger
Before they become emotionally broken?
Arise o ye Patriots from slumber
And seek an end to insatiable hunger
The time to brace up with realities of the moment
And acknowledge that our strength lies in unity
The time to answer to his glorious call
For this is the beginning of an era of greatness
