Neuralink Will Stream Music Directly Into Your Brain!!

The hype for Neuralink's upcoming event on August 28 is growing exponentially. Elon Musk has been teasing the next generation of Neuralink technology for quite some time now and from the looks of it, this is going to be groundbreaking.

If you were not already aware, Neuralink is a company that is building a brain-computer interface. In simpler words, this means that they are building a brain implant that will give humans super-cool abilities.

Right now, we are biological beings only. We have digital devices but they exist outside our "being". In the future, humans might eventually transform into becoming cyborgs (a mixture of humans and machines).

Well, Neuralink could very well have kickstarted that future. Their implants will essentially serve as a digital layer on top of our biological bodies and it is this that will allow us to do some crazy, sci-fi-like things. One of them will be to stream music directly in our brains.

Bye-Bye Earphones

We all listen to music and know exactly how special that experience is. We connect our earphones to our computers or phones and listen to our favorite songs. Well, with Neuralink's implant, this experience will become much more intimate.

That's because the device will directly stream music into our brains. So, there will be no use of earphones or ears for that matter! How crazy is that? Basically, they are "eliminating the middlemen".

This is not only a cool feature to have, but it could also essentially cure hearing loss. A deaf person will be able to get the implant and hear any sound from their environment! That means sounds of laughter, music, a bird chirping, and literally every other sound.

It's not sure whether or not the current version of the technology will be able to do this but the future versions will definitely have this capability. We are quickly approaching the realms of science fiction folks. Fasten your seat belts!

Haha! Wish we could buy 'em all.

Should be expensive.

Yup, in the beginning, it will be super expensive. But like most other technologies, it should eventually get cheap enough for the average consumer to buy.

Waiting for those good days. I don't see you are active on Hive these days? Hope you remember me.

Yeah, man! I remember you :)
Yep, not too active here. Hope to soon.
How have you been?

Great now I can hear the whole song that has been playing in my head at times and get stuck on repeat or just a few of the words in the song that I can not get out until I listen to the song a couple of times. Now with neurallink I can have the whole song bugging me all day with no missed words. I wonder if it will interfere with that issue some people have about tunes getting stuck in their head? How will they know if it is a naturally stuck song or if their neuralink is on the fritz?

The songs will not be on autoplay I think. It will be like using an earphone with a smartphone. You have to choose to play a song to hear it through the implant. Otherwise people would go crazy!!

This is interesting and cool but it seems like a horrible idea. Whats to stop them from putting voices, advertisements, or any other sort of unsolicited content directly into your head. How could a person even prove to others that something like that is happening? It seems like a risk to give control of part of your brain to a company. But I dont know much about the technology, maybe they have safe gaurds against that sort of thing? If so, I hope they are more then just the fine print of a continuously changing terms of service agreement.

That's exactly the risks and fears associated with this technology. If there is one thing we know about digital technologies, it's that they can be hacked and all sorts of weird things can be done with them. It will be interesting to see how Neuralink will go about addressing all of these.
