Análisis de Black Swan (2010)/Black Swan Review (2010)
Hola amigos de Hive como están? Espero que se encuentren muy bien, estoy volviendo con una sección que tenia tiempo sin escribir y son las reseñas de películas, el día de hoy estaremos hablando de Black Swan o el Cisne Negro en Latinoamerica una película dirigida por el gran Darren Aronofsky y protagonizada por una genial Natalie Portman, en quizás uno de los mejores papeles hechos en su vida.
Hello friends of Hive how are you? I hope you are very well, I am returning with a section that had time without writing and are the reviews of films, today we will be talking about Black Swan or Black Swan in Latin America a film directed by the great Darren Aronofsky and starring a great Natalie Portman, in perhaps one of the best roles made in his life.
Sinopsis/Synopsis
Black swan ve la historia de una bailarina de ballet clásico que siempre ha soñado y luchado por conseguir un buen papel en las ediciones anuales del gran ballet el Lago de los Cisnes de Tchaikovsky, y cuando por fin obtiene el papel del cisne blanco, se da cuenta de lo mucho que puede corromper este papel y llevarla al borde de la muerte incluso.
Black swan sees the story of a classical ballet dancer who has always dreamed and fought to get a good role in the annual editions of the great ballet Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, and when she finally gets the role of the white swan, she realizes how much this role can corrupt her and even bring her to the brink of death.
Análisis/Analysis
Esta película comenzó quizás un nuevo subgénero dentro del cine que lo vamos a llamar Cine trágico, Darren Aronofsky es uno de esos directores que no le da miedo comenzar a explorar la psique humana desde un punto de vista lleno de crudeza y llena del pensamiento más primitivo de la existencia humana que es la “auto-preservación”, como en Requiem for a Dream, el nos lleva por un viaje lisérgico lleno de muchos simbolismos, y con un dominio brutal de la cámara y que más bien nos ayuda a entender toda la psicología que maneja el personaje de Nina en muchas ocasiones.
This film started perhaps a new subgenre within the cinema that we are going to call Tragic Cinema, Darren Aronofsky is one of those directors who is not afraid to start exploring the human psyche from a point of view full of rawness and full of the most primitive thought of human existence which is "self-preservation", as in Requiem for a Dream, he takes us on a lysergic journey full of many symbolisms, and with a brutal mastery of the camera that rather helps us understand all the psychology that Nina's character handles on many occasions.
El personaje de Nina (Natalie Portman) es quizá, uno de los personajes más interesantes de esta película, no lo digo por que sea el personaje principal solamente, sino que cada vez que ella se mete mucho más en el mundo del Ballet,de la vida y su delirio, nos muestra un personaje totalmente animal, lleno de ira, y del deseo más mundano que tiene la humanidad y es, el querer triunfar.
The character of Nina (Natalie Portman) is perhaps one of the most interesting characters of this film, I do not say this because she is only the main character, but every time she gets more into the world of ballet, life and its delirium, shows us a totally animal character, full of anger, and the most mundane desire that humanity has and that is to want to succeed.
Esta mirada de cómo alcanzamos los sueños y las metas, es un tema que ya había explorado Darren en Requiem for a Dream, pero en Requiem el busca la realización por medio de las drogas, pero aquí Darren explora una de las carreras más difíciles del mundo, la carrera del artista. Cada vez que un artista sueña, hay un 99% de trabajo y 1% de sueño, es un camino que no está hecho para todos, y que no todos pueden sobrellevar y salir adelante con él.
This look at how we achieve dreams and goals, is a theme that Darren had already explored in Requiem for a Dream, but in Requiem he seeks fulfillment through drugs, but here Darren explores one of the most difficult careers in the world, the career of the artist. Every time an artist dreams, there is 99% work and 1% dream, it is a path that is not made for everyone, and not everyone can overcome and get ahead with it.
Nina siempre ha tenido toda su carrera a su madre, una mujer que la apoya pero que necesita ver a Nina llegar a lo más alto, no solo por el hecho de que apoye a su hija, sino que ella es una bailarina frustrada que no logró obtener el mayor de los papeles en esta disciplina “El cisne Blanco”. Su madre presiona a Nina todos los días para que ella alcance ese papel, no la deja comer bien, tiene una exigente rutina que no le permite descansar ni mucho menos socializar, solo existe el ballet, e inclusive en todo este proceso, el yo de Nina como individualidad deja de existir.
Nina has always had her mother as a supportive woman throughout her career, but she needs to see Nina reach the top, not only because she supports her daughter, but because she is a frustrated dancer who failed to get the biggest role in "The White Swan". Her mother pressures Nina every day to reach that role, does not let her eat well, has a demanding routine that does not allow her to rest or much less socialize, there is only the ballet, and even in this whole process, Nina's self as an individual ceases to exist.
Todo este comportamiento enfermizo, Darren lo refleja mediante dos cosas, la compulsión de Nina por rascarse la piel, y obviamente sus delirios.
La compulsión de Nina a lo largo de la cinta aumenta cada vez que va creciendo dentro del mundo del Ballet, siempre que asume un nuevo reto comienza a exigirse más, y por supuesto a rascarse, hasta llegar al clímax de este tic que le ocasiona alucinar con que le salen alas como las de un cisne. Una de los recursos más bellos de esta película (sin que suene sádico) es la sangre, la sangre representa toda la obsesión, y la energía de Nina perdiéndose y estando cada vez más cerca de la locura. Cuando ella “asesina” al personaje de Mila Kunis, asesina su propia cordura y deja que toda esa obsesión la consuma, ya en ese punto no importa nada, el show debe continuar, incluso si ella tiene que perder su humanidad ante un asesinato para poder seguir con la obra.
All this sick behavior, Darren reflects through two things, Nina's compulsion to scratch her skin, and obviously her delusions.
Nina's compulsion along the tape increases every time she grows into the world of ballet, whenever she takes on a new challenge she begins to demand more of herself, and of course scratching, until she reaches the climax of this tic that causes her to hallucinate that she grows wings like a swan. One of the most beautiful resources of this film (without sounding sadistic) is the blood, the blood represents all the obsession, and Nina's energy getting lost and getting closer to madness. When she "murders" Mila Kunis' character, murders her own sanity and lets all that obsession consume her, at that point nothing matters, the show must go on, even if she has to lose her humanity to a murder in order to continue with the play.
Los delirios, son la parte más exquisita de esta película, porque nos adentramos mucho más al subconsciente del personaje principal, un personaje dañado, carente de una individualidad, con carencia de afecto, autoestima y de una vida aparte de la que ella lleva en los escenarios. Quizá por eso, el personaje de Mila Kunis es un personaje conflictivo para su vida, ella es una mujer libre, confiada de lo que hace, es una persona sumamente extrovertida e independiente, e incluso pareciera que es un poco mejor bailarina que Nina. Y eso es lo que a Nina le afecta, es saber que no tiene una vida, que carece de propósito más allá del ballet y que aún sigue viviendo con su madre, en pocas palabras se podría decir que es una fracasada, pero la única cosa que ella obtiene de esto, es el Cisne Blanco, ese pequeño reflector que hace que todas las cosas que ella dejó de hacer tengan un valor, porque para eso ella vive, para el arte y por el arte muere.
The delusions, are the most exquisite part of this film, because we go much deeper into the subconscious of the main character, a damaged character, lacking individuality, with a lack of affection, self-esteem and a life other than the one she leads on stage. Maybe that's why Mila Kunis' character is a conflictive character for her life, she is a free woman, confident of what she does, she is a very outgoing and independent person, and even seems to be a little better dancer than Nina. And that's what affects Nina, is knowing that she doesn't have a life, that she lacks purpose beyond ballet and that she still lives with her mother, in short you could say that she is a failure, but the only thing she gets from this, is the White Swan, that little spotlight that makes all the things she stopped doing have value, because that's what she lives for, for art and for art she dies.
Sin duda esta película, es quizá uno de los mejores acercamientos hacia la vida de un artista hecho por un artista como lo es Darren y caracterizado por una asombrosa Natalie, es una película que no te deja estar en una zona de confort y que siempre está retando al espectador a pensar sobre lo que estamos dispuestos a hacer por logar un sueño; ojo no quiero decir que luchar por algo que amas esté mal, sino que el hecho de hacerlo y que en el proceso se pierda cualquier tipo de sentimientos hacía la vida eso es lo que está mal. Undoubtedly this film is perhaps one of the best approaches to the life of an artist made by an artist like Darren and characterized by an amazing Natalie, is a film that does not let you be in a comfort zone and is always challenging the viewer to think about what we are willing to do to achieve a dream, I do not mean that fighting for something you love is wrong, but that the fact of doing so and in the process is lost any kind of feelings towards life that's what's wrong.
