A family tradition is what is done in family togetherness from one generation to the next. Thank you @sultnpapper for this initiative, may the prize you are about to award be returned to you a million times over.

Uniendome al llamado de este concurso, un poco tarde pero espero todavía tener oportunidad, les traigo un poquito de la intimidad de mi hogar.
My family tradition
It is characterized by the celebration of birthdays, here my family meets and celebrates the return of each member to the sun, is used to eat cake and other sweet typical.
Once everyone has arrived at the birthday boy's home some salty food and refreshments are shared with family and close friends and if the atmosphere and mood allow it, even dancing is done.
Mi tradición familiar
Se caracteriza por la celebración de los cumpleaños, aquí se reúne mi familia y se celebra la vuelta al sol de cada miembro, se acostumbra a comer pastel y otros dulces caceros.
Una vez que todos han llegado al hogar del cumpleañero se comparte alguna comida salada y refrescos con familiares y amigos cercanos se conversar y si el ambiente y los ánimos los permiten hasta se baila.
The food
The main dish of this tradition is the cake or torta as it is called in my country, it is also accompanied by a sweet that is quesillo (divine 🤤) this sweet is made with caramel, milk and sugar, and gelatin.
La comida
El plato principal de esta tradicion es el pastel o torta como le llaman en mi país, también se acompaña con un dulce que es quesillo (divino 🤤) este dulce se hace con caramelo, leche y azúcar, y gelatina.
Birthday ritual
It is customary to sing the birthday song which is a common song expressing the good wishes of family and friends on the birth date, all together around the cake and with candles lit.
Once the song ends, the birthday boy blows out the candles making a silent wish.
A round of applause is given at the end and the candles are extinguished.
Then the piece of cake is cut and everyone eats.
If you ever come to Venezuela or have a chance to try a traditional sweet, ask for the Quesillo, you won't regret it.

Ritual de cumpleaños.
Se acostumbra a cantar el cumpleaños que es una canción común que expresa los buenos deseos de familiares y amigos en la fecha natal, todos juntos alrededor del pastel y con velas encendidas.
Una vez que termina la canción, el cumpleañero sopla las velas pidiendo un deseo en silencio.
Se aplaude al final y se apagan las velas.
Después se corta el trozo de pastel y todos a comer.
Si vienes alguna vez a Venezuela o tienes oportunidad de probar un dulce tradicional, solicita el Quesillo, no te arrepentiras.
