Palak Paneer Recipe!

Palak Paneer is a winter paneer dish loved by all. Palak is a rich source of iron and is very healthy for consumption. Palak paneer is extremely delicious. Special tadka of desi ghee at the end makes it mouth watering. Let’s see how we make it.

Ingredients

250 gms Palak,
2 tomatoes,
13-15 garlic cloves,
1 big piece of ginger,
1 green chilli,
salt according to taste,
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder,
dhaniya powder,
garam masala,
250 gms paneer

Recipe

Step 1: Peel off ginger and garlic skin. Add ginger, garlic, onion, tomatoes and green chilli in a mixer and grind to a fine paste.

Step 2: heat 3-4 tbsp mustard oil in a pan. Add the mixture and cook well for about 5-7 minutes on low flame.

Step 3: add the spices. Let the masala cook until it leaves oil from the sides.

Step 4: while the masala is cooking on low flame, blanch the Palak leaves. Once cooled, grind it to a fine paste.

Step 4: now add the Palak to the mixture and let it cook for about 10 minutes.

Step 5: add paneer cubes. Mix gently.

Step 6: Serve hot with chapati.
