Ayer me levanté a las 6:00 de la mañana como de costumbre, preparé el desayuno que consistió en una rica tortilla de espinaca, pan arabe, cambur y jugo de naranja , luego de desayunar me fui a bañarme para arreglar la casa ya que mis hermanas y yo teníamos planeado un compartir familiar como lo hacíamos todos los domingo antes de que apareciera el covid-19.
Yesterday I got up at 6:00 in the morning as usual, I prepared breakfast which consisted of a delicious spinach omelet, Arab bread, cambur and orange juice, after breakfast I went to take a bath to fix the house because my sisters and I had planned a family sharing as we did every Sunday before covid-19 appeared.
A las 8:00 am , salí con mi esposo a hacer las compras de lo que faltaba para el almuerzo, ya en casa nos dispusimos a montar la olla con la carne para que fuera ablandando y picamos la verdura, para cuando llegaran la familia estuviese adelantado el sancocho.
At 8:00 am, I went out with my husband to do the shopping for what was missing for lunch, and at home we set out to assemble the pot with the meat so that it would be softened and chop the vegetables, so that when the family arrived the stew would be ready in advance.
A eso de las las 10:00 am comenzaron a llegar mi familia, primero llegó mi hermana @daysiselena con su esposo, seguido llegaron mi hermano con su esposa e hijos y por último mi hermana mayor con su hija y nietos. Luego terminamos de darle el toque final al sancocho, ya listo nos dispusimos a servir y nos sentamos en la mesa a degustar del suculento sancocho .
At about 10:00 am my family began to arrive, first came my sister @daysiselena with her husband, followed by my brother with his wife and children and finally my older sister with her daughter and grandchildren. Then we finished giving the final touch to the sancocho, ready we got ready to serve and we sat at the table to taste the succulent sancocho.
Todo fue de imprevisto así que decidimos preparar una torta para compartir este día, el cual disfrutamos entre bailes, cantos y risas, porque de eso se trata la vida de vivir los momentos. Las celebraciones son importante, ya que esos acontecimientos especiales, donde la unión en familia es necesaria para la armonía y el amor que existe entre todos, esta es la mejor actitud para pasarla bien. Estoy agradecida de tener una familia unida, sin ella mi vida no seria igual.
Everything was unexpected so we decided to prepare a cake to share this day, which we enjoyed between dances, songs and laughter, because that is what life is all about, living the moments. Celebrations are important, because those special events, where family togetherness is necessary for the harmony and love that exists between everyone, this is the best attitude to have a good time. I am grateful to have a united family, without it my life would not be the same.
