When you achieve success
You pay tribute to everything around you
Of course, the pain and the struggles are forgotten euphoria
Then you hope the euphoria never ends
No one wants to fail
Imagine being born in a slum
Where hopes are hopeless?
Success seems imaginary
And patience taken to be costly
All around you can lack value?
Often killing your self-belief;
Thus place can be likened to it?
Alas, it's far worse than it.
A place that connotes hell on earth
She lacks reliable leaders
Ones whose policies are feint and malevolent
Laxking merit in their judgement
Their attitudes, girlish and impish
Always self-centred in all they do
Impunity has become their hobby
All have become religious bigots
Sadly, they lost their souls long ago
To wickedness and vile
Indeed the rulers of the place are at fault
They lack natural flair to bring prosperity to her
Often lacking foresight on what's best for her
They are never eloquent when they speak
Hmmmmmm! Common sense isn't common at all
Perhaps, wisdom is not for all??
Few have become optimistic of her success
The elite are frustrated often
Their views taken to be irrational
Few who tried to fight are locked up
The remaining, running into hiding
But, often useless and aimless
They still end up being victimized
This is just a few of unsavoury events here
Many others are conundrums
Even the wisest of men can't comprehend it
Very equivocal to the average man
Few could tell when respite would come
All hope lies above
Indeed, it's a frustrating place for the elite.
