Good afternoons gems community, today I want to share with you a memory of a trip to the beach with my friends, about 6 years ago, in my high school days, time went by very fast and in a blink of an eye we grew up, that was the last trip I went on with my high school friends.
Buenas tardes comunidad de gems, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un recuerdo de un viaje a la playa con mis amigos, hace aproximadamente 6 años, en mi época de bachillerato, el tiempo paso muy rápido y en un abrir y cerrar de ojos crecimos, ese fue el ultimo viaje al que fui con mis compañeros de bachillerato.
This trip was for academic activities, since we were going to study the types of coasts, and maritime reliefs, mouths, and depreciations that we could observe in our trip to Morrocoy National Park, to the town of Chichiriviche.
Our trip started from our high school in Barquisimeto, and it was a trip of approximately 3 hours, in which we made some stops that our teacher required for her activity.
Este viaje fue por actividades académicas, pues íbamos a estudiar los tipos de costas, y relieves marítimos, desembocaduras, y depreciaciones que podíamos observar en nuestro viaje al Parque Nacional Morrocoy, a la localidad de Chichiriviche.
Nuestro viaje comenzó desde nuestro instituto en Barquisimeto, y fue un viaje de aproximadamente 3h, en el cual hicimos algunas paradas que requería nuestra profesora para su actividad.

We made a stop at the mouth of the town of Boca de Aroas, where the Yaracuy River meets the beach, and another stop at the entrance to Chichiriviche, on the plain where the flamingos feed.
Hicimos una parada en la desembocadura del pueblo Boca de Aroas, donde el Río Yaracuy se une con la playa, y otra parada en la entrada a Chichiriviche, en la planicie donde se alimentan los flamingos.

I must admit that I took very few pictures of our activity, because it consisted of a question and answer, the teacher asked us something related, and we had to answer and take notes about it, so I could not take pictures.
However, in our second stop, we were talking about the feeding of the flamingos, that's what I can remember, I also remember that at the moment of getting off the bus we all made a race to see who arrived first at the site of the activity, and well the result that I fell.
Debo reconocer que tome muy pocas fotos de nuestra actividad, por que consistía en un preguntas y respuestas, la profesora nos preguntaba algo relacionado, y nosotros debíamos responder y tomar nota sobre ello, por lo cual no pude tomar fotos.
Sin embargo en nuestra segunda parada, hablábamos sobre la alimentación de los flamingos, es lo que yo puedo recordar, también recuerdo que al momento de bajar al bus todos hicimos una carrera a ver quien llegaba primero al sitio de la actividad, y bueno el resultado fue que me caí.

At the end of our activity here, we continued our way to board a boat, and go to a small island called Cayo Sal, there we were going to observe the lagoon, or salt mine as it is known to study the formation of salt that was formed here, our main objective was to visit the Farallón de Chichiriviche but for reasons of time we could not go to this site.
Al finalizar nuestra actividad aquí, seguimos nuestro camino para abordar una lancha, e ir una pequeña isla llamada Cayo Sal, allí íbamos a observar la laguna, o salina como se le conoce para estudiar la formación de sal que se formaba aquí, nuestro principal objetivo era visitar el Farallón de Chichiriviche pero por motivos de tiempo no pudimos ir a este sitio.

At Salt Cay, we could observe some of the sea fauna, as well as the flora found on the island.
En Cayo Sal, pudimos observar un poco de la fauna marina, al igual que la flora que se encuentra en la isla.

After finishing all the academic activities, we had a few hours for our recreation, we could share food, play some things like volleyball, with a frisbee, fights on the beach, and many other things. This period was very short, but we enjoyed it to the fullest.
Luego de finalizar todas las actividades académicas, tuvimos unas horas para nuestra recreación, pudimos compartir comida, jugar algunas cosas como voleibol, con un frisbee, luchas en la playa, y muchas cosas mas. Este periodo fue muy corto, pero lo disfrutamos al máximo.
At the end of the day, we returned home safely from our last activity as high school students. It was a great day, which I still remember a lot, and I hope we can soon repeat it as friends.
Al finalizar el día, regresamos a casa sanos y salvos de nuestra ultima actividad como estudiantes de bachillerato. Fue un día genial, que aun recuerdo mucho, y espero que pronto podamos repetir como amigos.
