As a resident of Japan, I would rather express my sympathy for the torrential rain than summer greeting. How about in the area where you all live? Is there the influence of climate change?
In Japan, we have a custom to send summer greetings by postcard, but now the number of people sending it has decreased. Stamps get expensive year by year, and it's cheaper to make images like this and show them to everyone on the Internet. But I barely keep sending New Year's cards as postcards.

なんか、日本に住む私としては暑中お見舞いというよりも、豪雨お見舞い申し上げます、という気持ちなんですが、皆さまの住んでいる地域ではどうでしょうか。やはり気候変動の影響があるのでしょうか。
日本では葉書で暑中見舞いを出す習慣がありますが、今は出す人も少なくなりました。切手代も年々高くなるし、こうして画像にしてインターネットで皆に見せたほうが安上がりです。でも、私は年賀状は辛うじて葉書で出し続けていますね。
