I have already told you about the honeysuckle and about the garden strawberries that we have grown in our garden and have already collected. There are still strawberries in the beds, but much less than it was.
Now the raspberry season has begun.
Raspberries are my favorite berry. As a child, my mother and I went to the forest and we collected 2 buckets of this delicious ripe forest berry.
Now we are growing raspberries in the garden, but... I also planted raspberries in the forest near our site. And there is already a special forest taste of this berry.
A few years ago, I brought home a variety of yellow raspberries. This raspberry ripens a little earlier than the usual red one. It tastes a little inferior to red, but even very quite tasty.
The most interesting thing is that this berry season we do not have a younger daughter at home. She is currently in a children's recreation camp. This is a former pioneer camp. My daughter called yesterday and said that everything is great there, but she still missed home. She'll be here in a week. Raspberries will still continue to bear fruit by that time. Yesterday I already tasted berries from my bushes in the forest.
We have remotant varieties of raspberries. They bear fruit until the snow itself. Of course, their taste by that time is not quite summer, but still fresh berries in the snow - it's not even bad at all.
Aren't you tired of looking at my plate of raspberries yet? I tried to photograph her from different angles.
And my mother watched and laughed.
Of course, it was my mother who picked these berries. And today for dinner there was a raspberry-strawberry mix with sour cream.
But the most delicious taste of childhood is raspberries with milk. I don't have milk right now directly from under a cow or from under a goat, but this is also delicious milk.
And raspberries grow here not only in the forest or in a special place in the forest. Raspberries grow right in front of the house. Well, not exactly in front of the house, but along the border of the overgrown neighbor's plot.
We don't collect these raspberries. There is a lot of dust from the road here.
One day, my cousin and I found a large raspberry bush in the forest while hunting. The berry was very juicy and delicious. I can say that I have never eaten such delicious berries in my life, but this will be a lie. As a child, I ate a lot of delicious forest raspberries.
So, my cousin and I ate this raspberry for 30 minutes. And suddenly, from the other side of the raspberry patch, many grouse birds flew up. My brother was an experienced hunter. At that time, he shot two grouse at once. They were also eating raspberries on the other side.
My cousin taught me to read the forest correctly. He was a great tracker!

На моем балконе я пыталась 3 раза выращивать малину (в этом году тоже) но она погибала. У моей подруги тоже самое. Скорее всего ей климат не подходит
На балконе? Ну я прям не знаю. Малина любит почву такую древесную. Ну типа чтобы были ее старые ветки. Но у меня почва голый песок, приходится исхитрятся. Навоз, трава скощённая, старые ветки. И надо ещё поливать.
Иногда даже грядку лесную поливаю, а иначе ягоды ссохнутся.
Есть ещё и чёрная малина, но я отказался от такой.
значит в почве дело, а насчёт жары как? выдерживает?
а почему от черной отказались?
От жары одно средство - полив! Я бы в детстве посмеялся, если бы сказали, что надо кусты поливать. У нас там была глина. А здесь песок.
А у чёрной не понравился вкус. Сколько пробовал, да ещё у разных людей - пустая ягода, хоть и крупная. Без вкуса.
Полив это понятно, её листики чем-то покрывались, думаю что это какой-то грибок :-(
Значит чёрную я не буду пытаться выращивать :-)))
Я тоже видела ролики на Ютубе, где люди показывали, как малину в кадках на балконе выращивают! И смородину... Ну, а клубнику на балконе - так это святое...)))
да ваще... люди любят извращаться. :)
Жить надо в доме а не в центре города на каком-от высоком этаже... и на балконе растить потом. :)

Raspberries are my favorite of the berry family. Their season is short. And raspberries are very tasty with some dark chocolate if you have any to try @apnigrich
