RE: Maize Disaster With Devastated Leaves Formation || Massive Destruction Within 24hours Of Maize Stem Borer

That looks bad :/
I am trying maize for the first time this year.
I am a bit late - plants are still tiny - I hope I don't get any bugs.

Planting this time of the year seems not too late but the real World of maize borer is highly at risk this time maize production. Although we are much more deeper from state to state or let's say country to country so we have different kind of miss diseases that attack at this point in time. Although when it comes today dry season we have nothing like Maize diseases. The messages is only comes when they are are too much rain or when we are in the rainy season in general.

I have also make some plan on how to fight this diseases within a short period of time in order not to over spread to the rest of the crops out there and also not to invade or the other kind of crops which I already planted such as watermelon, the Scent Leaf, the Okra plants. In my next post I will show you guys what I use and it's very well effective and reliable. Thanks for your comment and also your contribution on this issue.

This is what my maize looks like right now 😅:

(There is also a potato in the picture, I will transplant the maize a little bit away from it, soon)
I think it will not mature quickly enough.
I am in Germany, winter comes fast.
It is just an experiment and I have already learned a lot.

Okay that's pretty cool. But wait my friend. Don't ever Transplant maize from where its planted. It may not survive. Yes other crops can be transferred or Transplanted. You can leave it that way and see what Experience will bring out for you. That's a trial run. More also when planting your next maize, try to plant three seeds per hole , I mean drop three maize seeds or four in a hole. Not just one. The one may die during the germination process.

If I do not transplant them, both the potato and the maize will suffer.
Transplanting will also be an experiment.

I will try to follow your suggestions, next year :)

I germinated like 50 plants all together - it is ok if some die.

Oh. That's cool. I love the farming skills. Next month you can practice what I said. I love potatoes too. But I don't have much space to farm and plant it.
