Hello Hivers 💘💕,

For this type of crop to be planted you need a very good and healthy Vine in which you need to monitor the growth and development right from day one either from the owner's Farm or you plant it yourself just like my own. Planting sweet potato leaves by yourself can be a very big task or frustrating because dealing with this type of plant needs a lot of good water supply and it may not survive if care is not taken. So you need a lot of water supply as well as good farm management.

When I planted my own it was just one potato vine leaf which I sourced from a reliable source more than 4 to 5 months ago because it was during the dry season I was able to achieve that. So I planted it and I started Farm management on it and here is it at the moment. So in few days time I'm going to show us how to also achieve planting the sweet potato into the mobile sack. It is achievable through dedication and also through creativity. I also showed us in this article which and how to plant the sweet potato Vine.

You can see that it's a mixed cropping system as the case may be because it's both the Jute vegetable plants and they sweet potato on the same piece of land. Sometimes planting two or more crops together is attainable when you have the planting skills and Farm management. When you manage your farm very well it will come out with a very good productive output.

How do the sweet potato vine grow?

  • Just as you can see it when you are able to manage your farm properly it will start spreading out it vine from one place to another making just one single Vine to stretch and produces more sweet potato wine that can be planted on agricultural land. So what you need is this particular sweet potato Vine.

When you are able to succeed in having it yourself or you fetch it from a very good reliable farmer. Then you must always look out for this particular strand in between the vine and the joint. This is a very good starting point for sweet potato to start a new life. Immediately it touches the soil that is very fertile and healthy potato will start forming tuber gradually.

When this is achieve it grow up to 3 to 6 months before you can harvest it. If you take good care of your potato farm. Either using the mobile seed bed or planting it directly on agricultural land.

I had to laugh first because this post you made sir, was once a kind I needed so much. Before now, I used to imagine how many tubers of potatoes a farmer needs to plant to get back large quantity of potatoes. But I later found out it is the potato vine that is actually been used for the propagation.
Nice post Sir. I know this your post is a very good guide to those who didn't know about potato cultivation and may be planning on cultivating it.

You talked about constant watering to ensure survival, I would love to ask ; what if your environment is a wet type, that's your soil is always wet, do you still need to water.
I'm asking because we have potato farm and I am also planning on getting some of the vines to make a new farm. I have started school and I would not have time to water this plants; too many home chores.

That is why we as individuals, we need to activate our mindset to always learn and even from our own environment. Millions of people stays within their immediate environment and dwell. But when you give room for sharing of ideas, learning, call conversations, discord communication and more. We share ideas of different knowledge.

  • To your question. I will say that when you plant your crops where there is water already, no need for more water. Be careful of waterlog. Too much of water affect crops except like Rice, Sugarcane, millet and Guinea corn etc.

Thank you for your information I think with this I will be able to plant my too

Sir also want to appreciate you for the gift you sent for me thanks you very much
