People are always thinking about what they should post on their social media, referring to Instagram, Twitter, Hive, etc.
Something that pissed me off is the imaginary rules of what you should post and what not to (without exaggerating). When we create an account on any social media, we have the total control of it, some of them could have regulations about some topics or pornography but still you can write and express yourself.
This post isn’t about being censored, I’m talking about those people who don’t want to post or talk about certain things just because other people say not to, and by that, I mean worrying about what would say or think about it. The main thing that people want is to have thousands of followers, even millions! And it's true that it is something very hard to achieve.
The two main reasons why people is here on Hive is for money and to avoid censorship, those simple things are bringing a lot of people to the platform, and during the process you get a lot more right back, like knowledge about cryptocurrencies and blockchain through LeoFinance. But sometimes people care too much about earning money and forget about the freedom the blockchain gives you to write and post everything you want. Hive has many things and one of them is freedom, I wish I had more knowledge about programming to create some Dapps based on this blockchain, but even learning about blockchain is hard I couldn’t imagine building on it.
Rules are always necessary, but it isn’t right to follow them if they don’t let you express yourself
