It's the second week and we're ready for another round of posts from the POB community.
The first week got off to a cracking start with fourteen posts being published overall with a range of takes on the word Authenticity being shared.
Let's get the winners of the previous week out of the way first and then I'll let you know how you can get involved during the upcoming week.

POB Word of the week entry - Authenticity
Different take on the word compared to other entries, interesting info shared.
We have a new word each week which members of the community can share their thoughts about in the form of a post.
Any form of content is encouraged whether that be short or long-form writing, poetic, artistic, music or voice, or any other method you can come up with.
The guidelines for entry to the contest are as follows;
- The post must be made on the proofofbrain.io front-end
- The post must have the pob-wotw tag added to it
- Interaction with other entries is a requirement to win
- Entries must be posted before 12:00 UTC on 25/04/21
- Posts must clearly demonstrate what the weekly word is
The word for this week is Atmosphere
The prizes are the following and will be given in liquid form;

Love this concept! It reminds me of the early days with the @stemsocial community (formerly @steemstem) where we frequently had community challenges ranging from best post explaining a day at work in the STEM-fields (with pictures!) to explaining the concepts people were working on, studying or more fascinated by, etc.

My proposed word of the week would be: persistence
The STEM-field days at work challenge must have been fun. I dropped by your profile page yesterday and saw that you work (or had worked) in the Space sector, so I imagine you had some interesting work days to share, to put it mildly lol.

Wow! That is amazing! Thank you. I had a lot of fun writing my entry and reading some of the other ones.
I was happy to see @fireguardian and @wiseagent as the other winners, they did great.
I hope that you can continue on with this contest, it really does add some true value (on a grassroots community level) to the platform. It encourages engagement and is really open to any talent.
That's what I like to hear, I'll definitely be keeping up with the contest for as long as possible.
I mentioned in the post last week that it's something I find beneficial for my own personal life, so as selfish as it sounds, this contest is as much as it is for me than it is for the community lol. It gives an interesting look into people and how they perceive things in such a wide range. It's also a great opportunity to expand our knowledge.

Congratulations to all the winners! 'Atmosphere' is an interesting one. When i first read it, i wanted to take it in one direction. Slept over it and now i have another direction.
Amazing what a night's sleep can do. I've started to briefly read replies the night before and then I reply to them in the morning and I often notice that my thoughts have changed even if just slightly after rest.
Indeed... 'Sleep Is Your Superpower' is a TEDTalk that i've been planning on watching for a while now. I remember skimming the book many years ago but I can't remember much of it now.

Just checked back on the post and saw that I missed your reply. I checked out the video and I learned something! It was news to me that your body needs to cool down a few degrees so you can drift off to sleep, I'll definitely be keeping my window open from now on to keep my bedroom cooler.
No worries, man. Another traditional one that we practice here is to wash our feet and dry them before sleeping. The traditional story had something about avoiding ghosts and nightmares but it was really about better sleep lol.
The warning of ghosts and nightmares sounds like a good way to get the kids to wash their feet, lol.

I agree, that's why I left it pretty free range in terms of what kind of content people want to share. Any restrictions would really limit how people wanted to express the words.

I share many aspects with you friend, when that moment of inspiration arrives it is glorious, since incredible ideas arise and writing becomes a pleasure! oh by the way excellent diagram, for the first time it looked great, I don't think I can make one like that at least at this time!
Totally, having a full week (or close enough) to ponder over a word and see what inspiration presents itself is magic. I can't wait to see the range of posts we get through when more people get involved.
Thanks bud, I played around with this one for a little while. I'm trying to capture the word in some way using colour, texture, and the font. The first image for Authenticity had the font of a typewriter which I thought was fitting, paired up with the soft light shades of blue behind (I wish I added more texture to the blue background though).
