Another week is upon us! And here are all the treats I promised!!!
Let's take a look at @princessbusayo's cards in order to explain the next part of DreeMerge! So.. here you can see she has gotten 17 cards since the launch of DreeMerge! hehehe She is CLEARLY motivated to earn as many cards as she can! (If you're wondering how she earned so many - be sure to read on to see where the places are to earn!)
On her page you can see the quantity of each card, and the level of each card indicated. In the Blue Bird series, she has 5 Level 1 cards. Once she hits 7 of those - she will be able to merge them all and create a brand new Level 2 card. She currently has one, so after she merges those level 1's she'll then have 2! Simple! Once she has 5 of the level 2 Blue Bird cards - she'll be able to merge that for a Level 3.
Is that the only way to get a Level 3 card? Nope. Each day, she has a random chance to get ANY card from the 5 series, from Level 1 (the most common) to Level 4 (the most rare!). As you can see - she's already grabbed a Level 3 card in the Gold Octopus series! Nabbing one of those higher level cards means it's kinda like a shortcut on the race!
WAIT. RACE? What race?
Sure hehehe We thought... how fun would it be to see WHO can be the fastest Dreemers to merge up to that Top level card in each Series! There's 5 top level cards. The only way to earn that top level card is to merge 2 Level 4 cards in that series. You CAN'T draw a level 5 card; can ONLY merge. Staff - yep, you're invited to play too - but of course, only with your staff cards - not with our public 😃
Can you turn your virtual cards into NFTs to buy, sell or trade with each other in order to make deals to get along faster in the race? Nope. NOT YET. Once all the top Level 5 cards have been revealed, THEN - the NFT feature will be unlocked. We want to keep the race fair for everyone! So, only the draws you naturally earn are helping you stack your way to win the race!
And how can you stack?
Well..
- Curate daily on DreemPort
- Align your rating (accept/reject) with the DreemPort Guild. (It's pretty easy! They reject spam, and posts with very little written content. And that is pretty easy for you to spot if you're taking the time to read. It's how we make sure that SPAM and scammers aren't rewarded!) So make sure that you don't just click on accept and try to "game" the system! Vote accurately to keep DreemPort free of spam, and filled with genuine curators!
- Join in the Treasure Hunt and find clues to win treasure! (clues are in this post!!)
- Bring a post to share on PYPT on Thursdays with @shadowspub. Everyone who shares a post there earns a card for the month of September!
- Follow @l337m45732 around the blockchain. hehe He gives away cards randomly for fun things!

For this week's DreemPort challenge!
We have a new little fiction challenge for you!
We all be sailin' aboard me pirate ship, The Flying Down, with Capt'n Dreemie. Sailin' fast for Thursday's port -but we be headin' for a hidden sand bar! Unbeknownst to any pirate, this sand bar was newly created in the last storm of the area, and if we hit it - we'd be marooned there for days!
Lo and behold - a massive whale starts headin' our way...
"Capt'n! Whale of the port bow! She's headin' straight for us!!!"
Right before she hits me ship - she crests the water - almost takin' flight over the ship! She creates a MASSIVE SPLASH and wave that begins to push our ship out of the way of the sand bar.
"Blow me down!!! She's trying to steer us off course! All hands on deck!!!" I spin the wheel back on course and try to put us towards our treasure destination - heading BACK towards the sand bar.
Now....
your mission is - to FINISH the story,
and let your readers know how the whale saves the day! Do we make it to the treasure? Most importantly - Name the whale! Give it a special name!!! DreemPort will choose the top 5 challenge ranked and reward them with the usual treasures! hehehe But @ecency will have the privilege of choosing their favorite to name their Ecency whale!
