Those two also seem to have issues navigating a world where taking responsibility for one's own actions is crucial. I think your usage of the word 'they' doesn't fit. These are individuals walking their own paths, sharing a dispute with one another. It's not a Hive problem. It's their problem. Sure, it's ugly from all sides. But let's not forget about the thousands upon thousands who choose to not place themselves in those situations, on either side. The glaring majority of success stories should matter as well. If there were a million here roaming about, and they stumbled into an individual claiming their personal problems are world problems, 99.99% are going to keep walking. On a personal, human level, I can feel for them (from a business standpoint, not so much). I've seen several come out of those situations on top though.
