With AMR008 End of Project the comments will now be more real?

I was about to write this post these days. I had been noticing in my posts some random comments from new accounts that don't use their own photo. Comments that are meaningless or too generic. So when you look at the comments that these accounts made by POB they were always very similar, but changing a few words. I remember asking @amr008 about the script in cases like this. However, I didn't go too far in looking to see if these users were benefiting from comment gains. What bothered me most was that they were meaningless comments. And I also noticed that most of these comments were made based on the title you were writing and not the text. It became clearer when I looked at some cases when the titles were very different from the context of the subject made in the post.

I also decided to test in addition to answering everyone as I do, I asked a question questioning something about the comment I had spoken, so I could understand the point of view and at the same time test these accounts. To date none of them have responded to the continuation although they have continued to comment on new posts of mine and I kept trying to get a more concrete answer.

When @amr008's announcement came out about the withdrawal of delegations and projects I can't say if it was a coincidence or what, but the frequency of the same comments dropped a lot. I'm still going to analyze this rest of the month to be sure. But one thing is certain: I've never liked comments like that, made out of laziness or just forced to participate in something. When thinking about doing this, at least in my posts, don't do it, don't waste your time.

Sort:

I very much doubt it was a coincidence. The comments will definitely decrease. The @amr008 project was amazing, but I think it was a positive point that it ended because there were a lot of people benefiting for pure interest in pobs and not genuinely interacting.

I have this same vision as yours.

The positive side is the end of these boring comments around here.

Hahhaaha i do noticed this as well, some times is just irritating , like why comment on someone post if you won't even bother to read the content?

I guess the few comments now will be real at least .

Yes! I agree.

I really love reading your comments that are real and true. And I hope this gets stronger and stronger!

I will definitely continue to learn and improve in all my activities here.

I totally agree with you on this one. A lot of people seem te be focussing on the quantity of comments, but it's more the quality of comments that counts.
I thought I had seen an initiative to reward the best comment of the day too. I think that's a better way of appreciating comments.
That's also how I do this on Noise.Cash. People that provide a useful, funny comment get an upvote.
I think I should do that over here more too.

It's a really interesting idea. This could be added to something within the POB curators as well to help.

Let's see what @scholaris thinks about this

;)

I like the idea. I do something similar in my curation. If the conversation flows, then I reward most of the comments. The more engaging the comment the higher the reward.

It is true! Now that you've talked about it I remember having seen it being done by you

Yeah. All my curation is manual now. It's pretty easy to do, but it takes a really long time.

Yes!

I also only do manuals

Wonderful
I like amr008 activity and statistics here

In a way, the engagement will be more organic. Shoot, I might throw random 100% upvotes on comments I like just to keep the magic going.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Exactly. Now we will have the real comments.

Since the days of WOTW having the criteria of engagement to win comments, even if more "real", they were only "forced" to be made. Nothing organic. After this was no longer valid, people stopped commenting.

I'm much more in favor of real interaction, the one we're having here today for example ;)

Noted

Olha esse também @aiuna hahaha

Commenting is a kind of conversation. @amr00 is a great project. I am sorry to hear that project halts now. However, as a community, commenting should continue though there is no reward system. I hope more curators will also leave some reward for ones who engage actively.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Yes, it must always continue. But in a real and more organic way!

Hahaha, I love the way you just poured out your mind on this post.😀

I too have noticed that since the profits for making a lot of comments seized, Comments have reduced a lot, Infact, My recent posts no longer have much comments like the way it had before.
One might begin to think it was because of the comment gains that was why comments were flooding in.
But like you said, Comments would be more real now.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Really! I'm also noticing that several people were noticing this and not just me. And that's great!

I really don't like forced comments.

Yeah, You ever heard the saying 'Everyone goes where there is benefits?' That's exactly how it goes.
Some people who just wanted the benefits were going to the comment box to get their rewards.😁
