Today was a perfect weather day here in Germany. During the whole day the temperature was around 26 degrees Celsius, with clear skies and sunshine. Since several days and until yesterday it was raining and the temperature was always around 10-11 degrees Celsius maximum during the day. At night it was cooler, around 2-3 degrees Celsius normally.
With this beautiful weather of course my son and I spent part of the day outside.
We took a short bike ride around the area where I have been living for a year now. There are many forests and lakes nearby and we ended up passing by one of the lakes. Here as there are no beaches very close, people usually go to the lakes.
And there were a lot of people at this lake!!!!!
The photo does not do justice to the amount of people that were actually there. There were also a lot of people just walking through the huge forest-park next to this lake. By the way, this forest-park is part of a group of places that belonged to the former German emperor. There are many interesting constructions in this place. At some point I will make a post with the photos I have been taking of these buildings and their stories.
Yes, as I was saying, there were a lot of people and best of all, almost all the people (except for one or two) were without masks of any kind.
It really didn't seem like we were in the middle of all the COVID-1984 madness.
People were happy, all smiling and joyful, all next to each other and not afraid to be near another unknown person. I was especially positively affected by being able to see people's faces. I missed that, being able to see the expressions on the faces of the people we met and not just the eyes behind a mask.
After sitting on the sand to rest for a while, we continued riding our bikes through the forest-park and from there we returned home. We were both a bit tired but happy.
Nice weather and true normality are a good formula for joy in these times we are living in!

Hoy ha sido un día con un clima perfecto acá en Alemania. Durante todo el día la temperatura estuvo alrededor de los 26 grados Celsius, con cielo despejado y sol. Desde hace varios días y hasta ayer estuvo lloviendo y con la temperatura siempre rondando los 10-11 grados máximo durante el día. En la noches era más frio, alrededor de 2-3 grados normalmente.
Con este hermosos clima por supuesto que mi hijo y yo nos pasamos parte del día fuera de casa.
Dimos una pequeño viaje en bicicleta por los alrededores de la zona donde yo vivo desde hace un año ya. Cerca hay muchos bosques y lagos y terminamos pasando por uno de los lagos. Acá como no hay playas muy cerca, la gente normalmente va a los lagos.
Y había mucha gente en este lago!!!
La foto no hace justicia a la cantidad de gente que realmente había. También había mucha gente que solamente paseaba por el enorme parque-bosque que estaba al lado de este lago. Por cierto, este parque-bosque forma parte de un grupo de lugares que pertenecían al antiguo emperador alemán. Hay muchas construcciones interesantes en este lugar. En algún momento haré un post con las fotos que he ido tomando de esas construcciones y sus historias.
Pues sí, como iba diciendo, había mucha gente y lo mejor de todo, casi todas las personas (a excepción de uno o dos) estaban sin mascaras de ningún tipo.
Realmente no parecía que estábamos en medio de toda la locura esta del COVID-1984.
La gente se veía feliz, todos sonriendo y contentos. Unos junto a otros y sin miedo a estar cerca de otra persona desconocida. A mi sobre todo me afecto muy positivamente el poder verle los rostros a las personas. Echaba de menos eso, el poder ver las expresiones en los rostros de las personas que nos encontrábamos a nuestro paso y no solo unos ojos tras una mascara.
Después de sentarnos un rato en la arena a descansar, seguimos en las bicicletas recorriendo el parque-bosque y de ahí ya regresamos a casa. Ambos estábamos un poco cansados pero alegres.

When you have to keep changing it depending on who you are talking to it can be a headache.

No accident, it's the usual thing that happens to me 😅😂 Especially because I change languages a lot in the same day and that tends to confuse.
Yep. Then talking about cryptocurrencies I am not sure how to say things in the target language Spanish and it turns out people have adopted English words from them.
¿10-11 grados? Ja. Yo cuando estoy en un clima inferior a los 18 grados ya me comienzo a congelar. Ni siquiera me imagino los 2-3.
😅 Eso mismo decía yo hace 16 años atrás ... y ahora 15 grados ya es casi como Verano. Definitivamente el cuerpo humano se acostumbra a todo.

I know that feeling, lol. My hair used to be down past my chest and it was a nightmare to wash every day.
It's be pretty warm over here but we had a crazy storm yesterday, lightning and the works. Hopefully it's nice and sunny today when I head out.
