Sometimes the morning sunshine was so clear with very cheerful vibes. I could feel all the trees smiling in the sunshine as they were so happy with this shower of energy. I had to take this opportunity to walk around the garden and along the dirt road. The green trees and fields looked very healthy and bubbling with enthusiasm. The blue sky made the whole atmosphere very light and full of loving vibes. The synergy of green and blue frequencies seemed to be very nourishing for all living beings.
I just wanted to memorise the pictures of what I saw around me. These are very simple sceneries of simple nature with trees, plants and weeds. I had to take photos of these trees and landscape as these would change in a few months. I was quite amazed to see those small trees we planted a few years ago have turned into ten meters high trees. Some fruit trees have blossomed for the first time.
These small trees would grow up to ten meters high. We could sell them for their wood and we could use these as fire wood or made into charcoals in the future.
The young lychee tree has just flowered this year and the longan tree decided to show off some blossoms too. Though mango trees had given us super abundant blossoms, small insects have been decimated these tiny flowers to bits. So, we wouldn’t have so many mangoes for selling to villagers this year. I have been waiting for the bread-fruit trees to blossom and bear some fruits. These fruits could become substitutes for rice on times of supply chain failure. We have got to have a borehole to tap into underground water. But this project would require a lot of investment and proper planning.
Bread fruit tree is getting much bigger while the vegetable ferns are doing very well. These ferns are my source of iron and vitamin B.
I was very glad to see my friendly team of builders arriving at the front gate. They hardly had spare time to do some minor repairs at my house. They were supposed to drop by over three months ago. We needed to change the old solar light to a new and much better quality. The old solar light was very cheap and low on capability; I bought them during a promotion of buy one get one free. That was my initial learning process on solar lighting and panels. I have a new project floating in my mind but it would be rather expensive for the moment.
Longan blossoms (above), and lycee blossons (below). So we could have some summer fruits in a few months.
The tree had eaten the electric wire so one branch has to be cut down. The tree appeared to be very reluctant to lose one branch. I had to pray for the permission to chop off one branch. It took the worker almost two hours to release the electric wire from the hard wood. I transferred the old solar light to the back of the garden; the new solar light worked nicely at night and the solar panel could charge the battery even on cloudy days. I hoped this investment project would prove to be cost-effective on the long run. The leader of the team noticed solar lamps around the house. I told him I was preparing for the possibility of a world war; all the workers had a good laugh at my reason. At least I would be cutting down the electricity bills and expenses.
The front gate got repaired and a new coat of paint. The delivery van has dented the front gate some months ago so I was glad it’s now in much better condition. The water tower also needed some anti-rust treatment so I asked them to paint the tower frames where there’s a sign of rusting. These people were very cool headed and peaceful by nature. They rarely got angry or moody so I liked to work with them very much. These were originally farmers who taught themselves new skills so they could earn a living in their free time.
This dry season we could hardly find any bamboo shoots to give these workers. We used to have several papaya trees so we could give them raw papayas which they could use for spicy salad. There’s only one bunch of bananas ready for harvesting and a few coconuts. We usually give them fruits and vegetables in our garden as presents. They would share these fruits among their colleagues at the construction site. They often laughed at me when I asked them to teach me some of their skills. They all thought I was too clumsy for handy work. I would have to surprise them one day.
The leader of the team would be very busy these few months as a couple of foreign expat and his Thai wife wanted a new house built as quickly as possible. This team of builders have managed to build almost ten houses during the past three years. I would have to interview these expats who decided to settle down in a border town far away from big cities and seaside. It’s interesting that most Dutch and German expats preferred this quiet small town to popular places like Phuket and Chiengmai. I hope they would live happily and enjoy simple lifestyle in this small town by the river.
The evening walk by the river is compulsory for good health!
Wishing you peace, good health and prosperity.
Stay strong and cheerful.

If I was an expat, I definitely would prefer quiet and rural to busy like Phuket! It'd get tiring after a while. It's such a lovely environment. I always love the combination of bright blue skies and bright green tree tops. My version of heaven. A lovely psot, thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much for your kind comment. Glad you like simple nature in blue and green colours too. Lots more expats living in Phuket this year!
Sounds like you found helpers too and are getting a bunch of stuff done! Many of the jobs I have done now, I would have done in the past. But this long covid prohibits me from being able.
Luckily, these workers could make some time for me. I have been waiting for them to be available during the past three months. They were busy building new houses. So glad to have those repairs done finally.
The weather there looks very nice for these hard work.
Yup! It was nice and breezy day. The sunshine wasn’t too blazing hot. The work wasn’t very hard but it’s detailed work, but cutting that branch was time consuming. We didn’t use electric saw which could be tricky and hard to control. They are always very busy and making money all the time.😂
