Even more interesting , is the sycophantic defenders rushing in - and the ultra defensive tone adopted (as @futurethinker rightly points out).

I was using blurt for a little bit until most of my posts were deleted a couple of months back. I don't think it was malicious but just a result of neglecting the platform and lack of support by the community. Ultimately, blurt is an even smaller echo chamber with no foreseeable future.

The fact that the witnesses, with their silence, allows for such extreme censorship towards material that is anti web 2.0, anti authoritarian, anti everything Hive is supposed to solve, speaks volumes towards where this platform is going.
We need new investors asap as the rewards pool circle jerk that thumbs down content/authors that speaks against the authoritarians power structures that uses fiat as a form of control is getting out of hand. The crypto world can look at Hive and scratch their heads and wonder if Hive is truly decentralized or a plutocratic platform meant to push authoritarian propagandas while encouraging Bear behaviors with the currency that is already inflation based. The rich get richer and the people receiving rewards will just continually cash them out.
If you have to develop a cult mentality towards 'keeping hive' (not cashing out as I've been doing since the steem days), it's not really platform looking for a vibrant economy , using hive as a token, is it?
Someone needs to tell them that an economy involves free trade (without stigma of using the token), to get circulation and a real value user case.

Yeah, there are certain macro actions by these whales that point towards a person(s) who are maybe too aligned with the agenda of the authoritarians that maybe the reason for such blatant support for content and authors who support fiat, central banks, the science from their figure heads.
