This is Zuma Rock located on the out skit of Federal Republic of Nigeria Abuja.
Its one of the tourist center in Nigeria.

I like your post above. I'm sharing about Navratra which is a culture we observe. It's a 9 day long festival which people celebrate by fasting for Goddess Durga. This year, it starts on 7th October. It kind of marks the beginning of festive season. Navratra are followed by Dusherra and Diwali.
It's a huge festival in the hindu community and is celebrated with a lot of pomp and show. You can see lights and decorations and celebrations all around.
I have heard about this festival. There are a lot of festivals in India but Navratra is a really big one.

Amazing craft. I believe this one of Edo/Benin artefacts. Rich culture they seem to have over there. Opportuned to have stayed for some years. Really great people I must say.
Yes it does belong to the Edo people. They have these things every where including the federal university over there.
