RE: Here is Why Hive Will Amount into Nothing

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

What is the merit of being a whale? if few people have power over the network, then this network can easily be corrupt.

13-week lock? if someone have $ 100 worth of hive, why would you lock them in? Let's face the fact that, everyone is in for the money, everyone is in for the profit, the more you give people the more they will contribute back, if you Hive can generate a substantial amount of income for an average joe to support themselves, then they will stick with it, but there is only a 'promising future' or do it out of goodness of your heart, while there is nothing on the table, people will ghost this project really fast.

If I am making over $700 on medium as a writer, why in the world would I leave that for hive? or if someone has AdSense blog that generates over $ 300/ month why would they devote their time on Hive waiting for a whale to upvote for them? while on AdSense people gets paid for impression, no one has to upvote for you. This system has to be revised, otherwise, its just another blockchain project that we all know where it will lead to.

And things like this have been debated in depth on and off chain.

We will have to see where the consensus eventually lead to.

Well, don't debate for too long, make a decisive action, otherwise in this era no one waits for anyone, people move where the money is, it's not what people thinks but what works and what doesn't.

Actually, someone was mentioning about the post on hive being valid for upvote only within seven days, and then after that it can't generate any more money, is this true?

Money from upvotes, yes, they are only good for 7 days.

Tipping (or transfer directly to user wallet) is always available.

What is the principle behind this?

No clue.

So, I would say arbitrary.
