Good afternoon friends, may God bless you, today I share with you a passage from the sacred scriptures where we are exhorted to live with compassion, forgiveness and generosity, recognizing that our actions towards others have both earthly and spiritual consequences.
Be merciful, then, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, they will give into your lap; because with the same measure with which you measure, it will be measured to you again.
Luke 6:36-38

Be merciful, then, just as your Father is merciful.
Jesus urges his followers to imitate the character of God, who is the very embodiment of mercy. He encourages them to show compassion, forgiveness and love towards others, following the divine example.
Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.
This teaching highlights the importance of not adopting a judgmental attitude toward others. Jesus warns that if we are quick to judge and condemn others, we will also be judged and condemned for our own actions.
Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Forgiveness is a crucial part of the Christian life. Jesus teaches that if we forgive others, we will also be forgiven by God. This act of forgiveness frees both the offender and the offended from the burden of resentment and opens the way to reconciliation.
Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, they will give into your lap.
Jesus promises that those who give generously will receive abundantly in return. This is not limited to just material goods, but also spiritual and emotional blessings.
Because with the same measure with which you measure, they will measure you again.
This phrase warns about reciprocity in our actions towards others. If we are generous, compassionate and forgiving, we will receive the same in return. However, if we are stingy, critical and condemning, we will also receive that same measure back.
May God help us to act as he commands us.

Dad, y se os dará; medida buena, apretada, remecida y rebosando darán en vuestro regazo; porque con la misma medida con que medís, os volverán a medir.

Jesús insta a sus seguidores a imitar el carácter de Dios, quien es la personificación misma de la misericordia. Él les anima a mostrar compasión, perdón y amor hacia los demás, siguiendo el ejemplo divino.
No juzguéis, y no seréis juzgados; no condenéis, y no seréis condenados.
Esta enseñanza resalta la importancia de no adoptar una actitud de juicio hacia los demás. Jesús advierte que si somos rápidos para juzgar y condenar a los demás, también seremos juzgados y condenados por nuestras propias acciones.
Perdonad, y seréis perdonados.
El perdón es una parte crucial de la vida cristiana. Jesús enseña que si perdonamos a los demás, también seremos perdonados por Dios. Este acto de perdón libera tanto al ofensor como al ofendido de la carga del resentimiento y abre el camino hacia la reconciliación.

Jesús promete que aquellos que dan generosamente recibirán abundantemente a cambio. Esto no se limita solo a bienes materiales, sino también a bendiciones espirituales y emocionales.
Porque con la misma medida con que medís, os volverán a medir.
Esta frase advierte sobre la reciprocidad en nuestras acciones hacia los demás. Si somos generosos, compasivos y perdónales, recibiremos lo mismo en retorno. Sin embargo, si somos tacaños, críticos y condenatorios, también recibiremos esa misma medida de vuelta.
Que Dios nos ayude a actuar como nos manda.
