Good afternoon friends, may God bless you greatly. In I share with you some verses that convey the idea of living with a solid faith in God, as we long to be completely united with Him in eternal life, and we strive to live lives that reflect that faith and please God, whether in this life or in the next one.
So we always live confident, and knowing that while we are in the body, we are absent from the Lord (because we walk by faith, not by sight); but we trust, and we would rather be absent from the body, and present to the Lord. Therefore we also try, whether absent or present, to be pleasing to Him.
2 Corinthians 5:6-9

This passage from the Second speaks about the duality of the Christian life, which is lived between earthly reality and heavenly hope. In essence, the apostle Paul is expressing the paradox of living in a state of trust in God while we are still physically separated from Him.
First, Paul points out that while we are in this earthly body, we are separated from the Lord in a physical sense, but not spiritually. Our faith guides us, not our physical perceptions. Here, "faith" refers to our trust and belief in God, even though we cannot see Him with our eyes.
He then expresses a longing to be completely united with the Lord, suggesting that true communion with God will be fully experienced after mortal life, when we are "absent from the body" and "present with the Lord." This desire reflects the Christian hope in eternal life.
Paul concludes by urging believers to live their lives in a way that pleases God, whether they are in this earthly life or in the future life with Him. This implies that the Christian life must be characterized by the constant pursuit of the will of God. God and the desire to please Him at all times and in all circumstances.

Buenas tardes amigos, que Dios les bendiga grandemente. En les comparto unos versículos que transmiten la idea de vivir con una fe sólida en Dios, mientras anhelamos estar completamente unidos con Él en la vida eterna, y nos esforzamos por vivir vidas que reflejen esa fe y agraden a Dios, ya sea en esta vida o en la próxima.
Así que vivimos confiados siempre, y sabiendo que entre tanto que estamos en el cuerpo, estamos ausentes del Señor (porque por fe andamos, no por vista); pero confiamos, y más quisiéramos estar ausentes del cuerpo, y presentes al Señor. Por tanto procuramos también, o ausentes o presentes, serle agradables.

Este pasaje de la Segunda habla sobre la dualidad de la vida cristiana, que se vive entre la realidad terrenal y la esperanza celestial. En esencia, el apóstol Pablo está expresando la paradoja de vivir en un estado de confianza en Dios mientras aún estamos separados físicamente de Él.
Primero, Pablo señala que mientras estamos en este cuerpo terrenal, estamos separados del Señor en un sentido físico, pero no espiritual. Nuestra fe nos guía, no nuestras percepciones físicas. Aquí, "fe" se refiere a nuestra confianza y creencia en Dios, aunque no podamos verlo con nuestros ojos.
Luego, expresa un anhelo por estar completamente unidos con el Señor, lo cual sugiere que la verdadera comunión con Dios se experimentará plenamente después de la vida terrenal, cuando estemos "ausentes del cuerpo" y "presentes con el Señor". Este deseo refleja la esperanza cristiana en la vida eterna.
Pablo concluye instando a los creyentes a vivir sus vidas de manera que agraden a Dios, ya sea que estén en esta vida terrenal o en la vida futura junto a Él.
