Good evening friends, may God bless you, today I share with you this passage of sacred scriptures where the apostle Paul is communicating to the Corinthians his approach when preaching the message of God to them. He tells them that when he came to them, he did not do so using elaborate language or impressive human wisdom. Instead, his sole purpose was to share with them the testimony of Jesus Christ, specifically his crucifixion.
The passage says like this:

Therefore, brothers, when I came to you to announce to you the testimony of God, I did not come with excellence of words or of wisdom. For I resolved not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was among you in weakness, and much fear and trembling; And neither my speech nor my preaching was with persuasive words of human wisdom, but with demonstration of the Spirit and power, so that your faith would not be based on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:1-5

Paul also tells them that he was present among them with weakness, fear, and trembling, suggesting that his authority and confidence did not come from himself, but that he trusted God to guide his preaching.

The apostle emphasizes that his preaching was not based on human persuasion or earthly wisdom, but on the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and the power of God. His goal was that the faith of the Corinthians would be based not on human wisdom, but on the work and power of God.
